Remarks

Course eligibility is fine and needs no improvement because Jee mains is a very big exam as per my knowledge. Also, note that students' appearance is appreciable. Reservations are too biased for Delhi candidates as well as the guys who are SC and ST. No woman reservation exists. Also, note that the fee structure is a bit more like a basic government college. The admission process is through Joint Admission Counselling 5 rounds and 2 spot rounds respectively.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because of my keen desire to understand the logic. The faculty is so good. You have to study through tutorials on youtube but still, it's manageable. Girl to boy ratio is 1 to 16. Faculty to student ratio is approx 1 to 70. Qualification of faculty is that every teacher is either a Ph.D. or pursuing a Ph.D. It was not that difficult to pass exams but to get a decent grade point average there is a bit of hustle. A lot of students study too hard for the sake of good grades. The teaching method is either blackboard writing or simply using smart boards to run presentations. Make sure if you are joining this college then you have the habit of studying from the web. A website named resources. tech is built by students themselves and it helps a lot during papers.

Internships Opportunities

4

The complete internship stipend data is not shown outside the T and P cell but still, I will showcase what I know. Sprinkler gives approx 2 lakhs monthly to interns. Amazon gives approx 1 lakhs to its interns. Apple and google came last year with 80k interns. Samsung Bangalore gives its core engineers 50k rupees. There are two main things for a technical placement or internship One is Data structures and algorithm Another is a project on either web development or app development or else. Note that only 1 out of 5 students crack internships.

Placement Experience

5

6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit such as Amazon Microsoft Google DE shaw Morgan Stanley Daily hunt Ola Uber TCS Cognizant Etc. The highest package offered by amazon is 1.2 crores outside India. The average package is around 15 lakhs for all branches Around 24 lakhs for COE and IT and SE branches respectively. According to the placement point of view selection, order is Coe>IT>SE>MnC>ECE>Ep or EE>others w.r.t. interest. I am planning to do a job in a multinational company for 3 years and then start a venture.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is approx 8 to 9 percent every year on tuition fees. Scholarships are too much reachable if given that you are an SC category student or an ST category student or an economically weaker category student. No Scholarship is awarded to general-category students as per the rules. Stipends and job offers are conferred at the end of the 6th semester and I am currently in the 3rd semester so I am yet not aware of the placement session.

Campus Life

4.5

Engifest is an annual fest. It is conducted in the month of march or in April. The library is full of thousands and thousands of books by a lot of authors all across the globe. Availability of quality books has been ensured. The classroom has all the necessary amenities such as smart board benches air conditioning fans etc. In sports, we have an indoor playground and an outdoor playground with ?? table tennis. tennis???? etc. Resources. tech is run by students and it's of great use during exams. 4 to 5 canteens exist on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
