PU review

There is a PUCET entrance exam for admission. Your merit marks need to be over the cut-off merit. If your merit is over the cut-off you will be eligible for admission. For admission, you need to go to the department on campus and fill out the admission form and submit all the documents. There are reserved seats for obc, sc, St, single girl child, rural area students, etc.

The course is pretty good. Plenty of things are there to learn. And the faculty is pretty good. The majority of them are well-known in the field .student to faculty ratio is pretty good as well. There's no shortage of teachers. The datasheet of the internal exams is set by the department. Therefore there is plenty of flexibility in terms of exam schedule.

Internships by the department are generally not available for the bachelor's degree. You can get an internship if you have a master's degree or a Ph.D .the stipend is generally low as well for a master's, but is better than that for a Ph.D.

The fees are pretty low, that is 12000 per year. The only additional fee you need to pay is the examination fee. There is not plenty of scholarships as the fees are already quite low. jobs are generally not provided by the campus for a bachelor's degree, however, you can apply for jobs personally.

One of the best things about the university is the campus. There are plenty of fests that happen. Every department can have its events. For studying there is AC Joshi library which is quite famous here and has all the books necessary and is open 24/7. Every department has its library as well .sports facilities are quite good here. Football, cricket, athletics, hockey, basketball, swimming, archery gymnastics, kabaddi, etc. There are very good facilities for all these sports. There are many websites or social media pages that help students with different issues. Eg_ pu pulse. Pu mirror, pu official, etc.

The fostel facilities are not like private hostels. You are provided a bed table and a chair in the room . There is a gym in the hostel . There are places for sports like badminton, and volleyball. Mess food is quite well. Not as good as home-cooked food but as compared to other hostel or pg food, it is better. For hostel registration, you need to have their name on your name in the merit list for a hostel. Then you have to fill out the hostel form. This hostel form is then signed by the department and sent to the hostel allocated to you. You can get PGs or rooms but they are very costly, especially if nearby.
