Remarks

To qualify for the jee mains exam with a minimum percentile of 85 to 88 approx. All the details regarding the application are provided on the official site of aktu and further on the college site. The admission process was smooth. Although there is always some improvement required management must have to manage the admission arena properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in computer science has a lot much scope and I have a very keen interest in the field of technology. The faculty and student ratio is quite fair. Most of the faculties are highly qualified some teachers are not that much fluent in English. The exams are quite frequent in between the semester exams and to pass the exams it is required to just attend the lecture and listen to the professor carefully.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite good as per the qualities provided by the college, the cost of studies is not a burden for the students. One can apply for NSP. Much information as I am also in my second year so doesn't have much information regarding this.

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many fests that happen which include the department of and the cultural fest every 2 months although galgotias conducts North India's largest fest named unifest. To be honest the size of the library is not that big and the number of books is just okay all the books required for the course are available in the library. Amenities in the classroom depend upon the department you belong to the cs department classrooms are very good and most of the facilities are provided. There are so many sports and extracurricular activities that happen in college. College do has so many social groups and clubs and there are so many social media sites run by the student under the student council.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
