Remarks
The admission is based on the rank scored in JEE Mains. For my branch,i.e, electrical, the general rank for Delhi quota students must be around 20-25k. For category students, it differs very much mostly in lakhs of rank. The admission is done through the JAC DELHI website. But surely, if you have some category or reservation, then you can surely opt for higher branches.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the electrical branch is quite tough as compared to other branches. But it is made tough by us only. That is because most of us here are focussing on coding despite they do not belong to those computer science branches. And that is why they are losing their grip over their respective branch. Just giving exams for having a good CGPA. (Coding Environment in DTU is excellent).
Internships Opportunities
Getting Internships from college is quite tough. But it is possible if you pass all the tests with your full knowledge. They even look for different projects that made you fit for the particular field in which you wanna do an internship.
Placement Experience
As per the views I got from the seniors, almost every individual gets placed before leaving college. More than 100 companies visit every year and around 1500 approx offers are provided to students. Many students even get PPO from the internships they get.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual fees asked by DTUites to pay are quite not affordable for most of the students. Therefore, the college provides different scholarships to cater to the same. The student Loan facility is also available for students who are studying at DTU.
Campus Life
College Life on campus is awesome. Due to fests and events that occur at DTU, our college is also known to other college students as a college of events because, in our college, every semester or say every month, the college is having some event going on. Many societies of DTU organize different events which are wonderful and liked by many.
