You have to give jee main, after securing a good rank(<30 thousand in general, <40 thousand in ews and obc, these are for outside Delhi, add 40 thousand in each category for Delhi students to secure civil engineering in Delhi Technological University), next you can apply for JAC counselling online.
Course Curriculum Overview
Civil engineering course is a little easy as compared to other courses. Some faculty are good while few are strict, not good etc. overall faculty is good but most of the topic you have to study own. Studying 10 days before the exam can get you good grades.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of tech and non-tech companies come for summer internships like Samsung, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, sprinkler etc. Which provides around 35,000 to 100,000 stipend. You must be atleast good in DSA or web development to grab an internship.
Placement Experience
College placement starts in the 7th semester. A lot of big tech companies like Google, Microsoft etc visit the campus. many non-tech companies like sprinklers etc also visit the campus. Overall around 60% of students get placed, in civil engineering, only around 30-40% were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees increase every year by around 20,000 rs. Financial assistance is provided for families having annual incomes lesser than 4,50,000 rs. A great internship opportunity is there for tech and non-tech profiles.
Campus Life
A lot of annual fests and tech fests are conducted on campus, majorly these are conducted after a month of the new semester. The library is there having a lot of books. Good sports facilities are there. The gym is there.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are ok (a bed, a chair, and a table are provided to you), but the fee for a single room for one semester is 30,000 rs which is not value for money. Mostly outside Delhi students get hostels. If you are a Delhi student you can take pg outside the college.
