Remarks

A good professional course that requires s minimum of 60% for admissions and provides a lot of job opportunities and carrier options. We can find the applications on its official website online and from the college office.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because of my interest in the subject and its carrier options for the future. there are around 15-20 teachers in the college for our course only. The exams take place at the correct time when to be taken.

Class Size: 1353Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are 5000 per semester. And the study as per the fees of the course is reasonably way less than other colleges the financial assistance to the students is given by providing them with Bank student study loans and ample opportunities for jobs.

Campus Life

They are too many annual phases conducted every year by the college and many sports activities which contain basketball badminton tennis and which provide students with many other options besides studying which opens the brains and minds of students so that they can perform that and their education.

Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

College Journey

Likes

Discipline in our college is too good, among students as well as teachers
In our college, children are taught different beneficial activities.
Our college also teaches well, all lectures are on time.

Dislikes

Since it is a government College, politics also goes on in the college at some places which causes trouble.
The exams are very tough which all the students have problem with and they also check it strictly.
Placements cost only 1 or 2%, nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am preparing for a government job, so I took admission in this course just to get a graduation degree and not for any other reason. There should be some improvement in the lab and also in the exam pattern. The timing of our exam is 2:30 hours which is less time because the exam is lengthy.

Life at SGRR PG college.

The admission is based on the merit list which is based on the marks of graduation. I applied to few colleges in Dehradun along with SGRR and got selected in all but when it came to finalizing one college to start my masters I went through all the applied colleges physically and explore the college and its faculties. After all that, I found SGRR PG is amongst the better option for me. The teaching faculties of the Economics department are very cooperative and supportive. The infrastructure of the college is better and well maintained compared to other colleges. During the admission process, the HOD of my department took a short interview of mine which was really appreciable and informative for me. The regular classes and teaching aid was given by my teachers really helped me to grow my interest in the subject....Read More
