Remarks

Our college is far better than other colleges in bilaspur. The faculties share their experience with us they cooperate with us at all times. Anyone can freely talk to the higher authority regarding any problem.

iit jee - 40 marks. I wanted to complete my graduation through B.tech but due to financial problems i had to choose B.E.

Since, I have just started my 2nd year. So, I have no idea about it.

The Training and Placement cell of our college is better than other colleges. Presently, 10 students were placed.

College Events

The Techno-Tech fest is the biggest technical fest of our college apart from IT Engineers Day. In Techno-tech participants come from various colleges are invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Hostel Facility of our college is great like infrastructure, food quality is good, cleanliness is maintained and the fees is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Merit holder of different entrance examination our college provide scholarships to them and every year the college topper and university topper is awarded with scholarship.

Campus Life

The girl boy ratio is probably 40:60. There are number of workshop as per the requirements. Our college is rank holder in sports mainly cricket, proper guidance related to sport is provided. Ragging is totally banned in our college. It can be afforded by both middle class and low class as scholarship aid is provided to lower caste, category.

The seniors are cooperative and helpful.They share their experience regarding interview and training session and help us in our projects.

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Companies visiting for placements are - Infosys , TCL , Avinash buildcons, HDFC , and many more . My college also have many MOUs signed one of them is with L&T . Packages and placement - Highest package : ?42LPA Average Package : ?6 LPA Placement percentage: 60-70% as few students also opt for higher studies .

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Placements of the college is not good only mass recruiter and service based company come to our college with the package of 3-4 lpa. Only few companies for 5-6 lpa and hires only handful of students. Placements percentage is also low only 35-40%

OPJU - Development while making great memories

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements after or during 3rd yr in btech. Intership guidance is also provided in 2nd yr onwards . Highest package of 2023 is 33 lpa with avg. Package of 5lpa. For branch like mechanical more than 90% students are placed. My plan is to take management minor in 2nd yr. And after graduation I will either go for MBA or first get placed and continue MBA while having a job.

Placement Experience:

As I am Btech Student, every student become eligible for campus placements after 7th Semester. Many companies visits the college such as JSL, TCS, Muthood Finance, Flipkart etc:- every year. Highest Package here was 33 Lakhs Per Year on Amazon by Sujeet Soni. And average package of the college varies from 4.8-4.9 lakhs per annum. Students getting placed varies from 85-89% success rate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good college

Placement Experience:

Placement at our college is average if you are from the technical branches like CSE or if you have scope to get a placement inside the college and if you are from low branches like civil or many others then there is a very less chance to get a place inside the campus. From the technical branches like CSE, the average package goes to around 6 to 7 lakh and the highest packages around 40 lakh but it was off campus and the companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro Dettol, Patanjali so on come here and recruit the students. Almost 60 to 70% of the students get placed in our college.

CHOUKSEY ENGINEERING COLLEGE BILASPUR

At the time of my college selection, during counselling I had first priority selected a government engineering college in my city because the teachers there teach very well, but I had got low scores in JEE and state level entrance exam PET due to which I had to select the best private college in my city, Chouksey Engineering College Bilaspur (CEC Bilaspur). LCIT , Chouksey ,GEC bsp and JK college , in all of them I Selevyed for 3 but I choose chouksey engineering college because of placement are higher in chouksey engineering college.
