Admission is subject to your performance in JEE Mains. All details about the exam can be accessed at the NTA website and reservation is as per NTA. On the basis of your score and rank in JEE Mains, you get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electrical engineering because this is my interest. The faculty number is good for students and all the faculty members are highly qualified and good at teaching, there might be a few exceptions, but the academic calender is followed strictly, and none of the exams gets delayed.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in IT and CSE and the placement percentage is 75% and highest package in these branches can go upto 40LPA CTC and in other non, IT branches like ELE, MECHANICAL placement is up to 45% to 50% and the highest package can go upto 18 LPA. Companies like BSNL, WIPRO, Amazon, Indian Oil, and so on visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
From 2020 there was some hike in fees not too much, the hike was in mess fees from 16k per semester to 20k and tuition fee hike that is different as per different income slabs. One can apply on NSP for scholarships, various scholarships are available there. I am in below 1 lac slab and I pay 78k per year.
Campus Life
Each year fests and events are conducted by different clubs. Events like AAMAD, TECHVAGANZA, and HULT PRIZE are conducted annually and even twice a year sometimes. The library is good and the availability of books is good there, you won't need to buy a book of your own in the full course. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, wifi, AC, etc. groups like a soap box, zero-day, etc are run by students.
