Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science (cse) is the perfect course for future students as in India the job opportunity for computer science students is high. The student ratio per class is 80 students and there is a qualified facility also. Most of them are PhD holders so they are highly qualified. Term exams very 6 months and are not that difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Verizon was the biggest catch in our college they offered 3 lakhs per annum next was Accenture which offered 2.5 lakhs. Projects are done every year and outcomes were good so students get a lot of opportunities during placement

Placement Experience

Placements in college happen in the final year at least 10 companies come every year like Accenture, Verizon, cognisant etc at least 40-50 % get placed no arrest is the main point to get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike is very common in every college when I joined it was 87000 back in 2009 now I heard it's 2.5 lakhs so it's 3 times more in 12 years so not much of an increase considering the time period. I did not have a scholarship so don't know much about it

Campus Life

Hindustan tech feat happens on the 14 Feb which is the big festival in Coimbatore. All types of books are available in the library. Not many amenities just a normal classroom. There is not much into sports and other extra activities. Facebook they have a profile named Hindustan memes.

Hostel Facilities

The quality of the food is ok and not great in my opinion. That they need a change. Hostel registration is not that tuff and fees are also affordable. Only 1st year in hostel rest I stayed outside and the rent is affordable as it not near the city

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

60 per cent is the cut-off for admission. You will find it on the college website. first come first serve the more early the lesser money so be vigilant. The admission process is not that easy as the demand is high.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
