Course Curriculum Overview

The computer science curriculum is followed on an old basis, but the faculty is very good in terms of their knowledge and teaching skills. Faculty to students ratio is good and each class has approx 70 students. All the faculties are well qualified, maximum of them are PHD holders in their respective fields. All the term exams happen from time to time, in each semester after 2 months mid-sem, and end-sem after 4 months. A decent CGPA can be scored if you study 10-15 days prior to your exams

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Internships Opportunities

More than 100 companies visit for internship opportunities, some of them even with more than 1Lakh+/month stipend. Software developer internship is the major one, for which companies visit in bulk, and most students intern.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Around 2000 offers were made by approx 300 visiting companies. Placements stats are very attractive, with approx 15LPA average package and 1Cr+ highest package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year, fees increase by approx 7-8k amount. There are many scholarships which you can avail of. Colleges themself provide financial aid to students who need it. And Merit cum scholarship can also be availed from the e-district portal.

Campus Life

There are many fests that happen in the college, starting from the annual fest ENGIFEST, technical fest, e-summit fest, aarambh, homecoming and many more. Most of them happen in the month of January-march. There is a huge availability of books in the library which can be easily issued. Sports and extracurricular activities on campus happen very frequently. The college has a huge Sports ground and Indoor hall, where students can play different games.

Admission

Eligibility for admission in college in any course in BTech is 12th passed The application process starts after giving JEE MAINS, from the JAC DELHI website. 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates and rest 15% are for Outside Delhi students category reservations are also applicable in this college

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
