DTU life

I opted this couse because of research in physics field . this branch consists of around 60 % currillum of electronics and communication (ECE) and the rest is higher physics. but in 3 and 4 year you can opt for any other course as a minor for any branch like CS , IT ,EE, CV etc. student ratio in my branch is 1:10 (girls: boys). faculty is highly qualified, helpful, and cooperative in the mining department. there are mid and end exams each semester.

From the 5th semester onwards you can apply for an internship till may be 6th semester. you can apply in tech, non-tech, core, or electronics in any field. still, I am in the 4th semester so right now I haven't any internship records of mine.

from 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. as I mentioned above more than 300 companies visited for the requirement top require like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Sprinkler, visa MasterCard, honda, TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, Paytm, apple, etc. DTU has very impressive placement offers. in the last year 2500+ offers were provided by the company among 2200 students.

In year 2021 fee structure is : 1st year 206000, 2nd year 219000, 3rd year 229000, 4th year 235000, and every year for new students fees constantly increase. there are many scholarships provided by colleges as well as government: 1. merit cum scholarship, 2. category wise scholarship. you can apply to any company like tech, nontech, core, etc depending on your skills. the stipend is different for each company there are 300+ companies who come for fresh requirements during 3 and 4 years.

Engifest is the biggest annual fest of DTU and there is more fest like aarambh and homecoming for freshers. most of the society of college organize their separate fest also. a huge central library within the campus with more than 100000+ books. every year there is an annual sports competition between branches. Cultural counselling(management society), lets talk DTU ,vibes(western dance society), prathibimb(drama society), madurima( music society) and more society.

For admission in DTU, you have to qualify JEE MAINS entrance exam. this exam is conducted by the national testing agency (NTA), on the official website of NTA each and every piece of information is available. exam entrance fees are around 700 for general and obc and around 500 for SC and ST categories. reservation for state students are present and also category-wise reservation is also there.
