Come to DTU and you won't regret it.

DTU takes admission through JEE Mains Exam which is the Central Entrance Exam for most of the Engineering Colleges in India. I chose DTU because of its excellent Placements, Beautiful and vast campus, years old brand name, an amazing campus life but most importantly the exposure and opportunities which one gets here. Admission process is very smooth and well managed. It is completely online. Admission Counselling of 4 colleges of Delhi Govt which are DTU, NSIT, IIIT and IGDTUW takes place together under the name of Joint Admission Counseling (JAC). The students are required to register on the website and fill out the choices of college and branch according to their preference. After that several rounds of counselling takes place and various Cutoffs are announced. If a student's JEE Mains Rank falls under that cutoff then he is supposed to go to the college in which he has been allotted the seat along with the supporting documents and complete the process of admission.

My course will start this semester so can't comment upon that for now.

We have a dedicated Training and Placement cell which deals with the internship and placement related matter. It is a very hard working and important part of DTU. Worlds best companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Samsung visit our college and offer jobs and internship to students.

Various annual events take place in DTU at a very large scale. The biggest being ENGIFEST which is our annual Cultural Festival. It is the biggest in the whole Delhi NCR. Famous Celebrities like Sunidhi Chauhan, DJ Nucleya, Piyush Mishra, Vishal Shekhar, Mohit Chauhan and more have been a part of it. Apart from this, we have a 3 day Techfest in which participants from all over India come to participate in various tech events. We have a Sports Fest Aahvaan which is also a 3 Day sports fest in which tournaments of various sports take place.

Affordable is a subjective term. Fee for B.tech in DTU is approx 1.5 lakh/ annum. There is a fee redemption offered by Delhi Govt which is based on Economical Grounds of the students.

Vinod Dham who is widely known as the father of Pentium Chip, Vijay Shekhar Sharma The founder of Paytm, Ashok Puri CMD of BHEL and R.S. Bhola The Olympic Winner inspired me a lot to build my career.

Internal exams are not very difficult. One can easily score good in them. Results are quite often delayed.

I had not much interaction with the faculty but our Honourable Vice Chancellor is a very intelligent person and full of wisdom. His speeches are really inspiring.
