Everything about DTU

So I opted for this course because I didn't have a good rank but at my rank, I am getting some upper branches also I opted for chemical engineering because I am good in chemistry and it is a unique branch from others. And you have some much free time for co-curricular activities and freelancing. The faculty is very awesome and experienced here. The professors are very helpful and kind. All faculty members are very highly qualified. I didn't know the exact qualification but all of them are PhD holders aur extra than that. So don't worry about the faculty and teaching. So our semester started late so we have early exams almost 1.5 months before entering college. That's why we have to study hard for the mid-semester examinations. But if you study well and give some extra time to your studies you will definitely score good marks in your exams. So don't worry about the examinations.

Companies start arriving in July for hiring interns and all major companies complete their process by august. All major companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Expedia come in August. Roles offered - Data analyst, software developer, sales head etc. Stipend offered: Around 50000 to 150000 per month.

So talking about the placements 350+ companies visited college for the placements and made 1500+ offers. All big companies visited campus like Facebook , Google , Amazon, Uber , Atlassian, Goldman sachs etc. Students of 4th year are eligible for the placements. Highest package of the college was 1.84 Cr and average package was around 11 to 12 lakhs. Around 92+ % percent student got placed here. So placements are pretty awesome. After degree I want to crack GATE exam for getting a good placement in PSU's.

The fees are a bit high compared to other colleges. The total fee for your full-time BTech is around 9.31 lakhs. In the first year, you have to pay 219000 for your fees. Fees didn't hike that much. Fees hike is around 8000-10000 per year. If you are a Delhi candidate and from the general category then you should apply to edistrict in merit cum scholarship you will get a full tuition fee scholarship. And if you are a Delhi candidate as well as a category student then you should get full fees scholarship. And edistrict is a portal for Delhi students for availing benefits provided by the Delhi government. And if you are not a Delhi candidate then don't worry you would also have a chance to avail scholarship. DTU provides its own scholarship for all students of DTU and for economically weaker section students.

Annual fest take place between January and February. The annual fest is called Engifest. And tech fest also take place between Jan and Feb. Life here at campus is so awesome. You have a great exposure. You can join various clubs according to your interest. Some of the famous clubs and societies are Ecell, Yuvaan, Pratibimb and Cultural council etc. So talking about the library is that the library is very big. It is a three-floored AC library where you get all books your need or can read books in the sitting area of the library. The campus has great sports facilities. There is a very big sports complex which comprises an outdoor hall and an indoor hall. In the outdoor hall, you can play lawn tennis, Football, Cricket, volleyball, Athletics track and Basketball. Inside the indoor hall, you can play Badminton, Chess, table tennis etc.

Firstly, you have to clear "Jee Mains" exam with a good or decent rank. And then you have to apply for counselling called JAC Delhi. For registering for counselling you have to visit the JAC Delhi website and fill out a form and pay a fee of Rs1500. After this, you are eligible for counselling. If you have a category then it is a boon for you because you can get admission at low ranks also. This is the counselling for opting for top colleges of Delhi. Four colleges come under this counselling DTU, NSUT, IIIT Delhi and IGDTUW. You should select the college according to your choice. But in my opinion, if you have a good rank then you should go for DTU because here the workload is less and you should give your extra time to other activities and also this college has the best placement.
