My Life at DTU

I chose the Computer Engineering course in this college because of my keen interest in the Software Field. Moreover, the placements in this course from DTU are amazing. Faculty: The student ratio is 60:1. The faculties are well qualified and their teaching method is sublime. There are Mid Term exams that are held in the middle of the semester and the End Term or Final exams. Exams are not much difficult. You can easily score above well by studying a week prior to exams.

Most of the Internships are there in the field of Software development. Last year Sprikrlr was the highest stipend-paying company. Companies like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon provide internship opportunities here, for roles like SDE, etc. The average Stipend is around 60-70k per month. Projects in any Domain like Web Development, AI, Machine Learning, etc. would make your resume strong and provide you best of the opportunities for internships.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Big tech companies like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Uber, Apple, etc. visit every year for placements. No. of offers in the 21-22 session was 2434. The highest Package was 1.84 Crores and the average package is about 15-16 LPA. Profiles offered was SDE etc. In sessions 21-22, the percentage of BTech students placed was 97.45% I want to join a tech product-based company after my degree.

Fee Structure of Btech Course is as follows, 1st year: around 2,20,000, 2nd year: around 2,30,000, 3rd year: around 2,35,000, 4th year: around 2,45000, Scholarship and Financial Assistance: University offers merit scholarships for ST/SC/OBC category. Scholarships can be availed by students whose family annual income is less than 4,50,000.

The annual cultural fest in DTU is Engifest and is usually conducted in the month of February and Invictus is the annual tech fest of dtu. Apart from these, there is E-Summit and many more. The library is too big and contains every book and journal. Classrooms are equipped with ACs and good quality furniture is whiteboards with projectors. The Playground is really big and has a separate indoor space for Badminton and Table Tennis. Every sport is available here at DTU. The cultural council and manifest have their separate Instagram pages.

The admission to this college was based on the JEE Mains rank in the best of both attempts that year. The application form could be filled out from the JAC Delhi website where you can find the information. The admission process was smooth and all rounds of the JAC Delhi cutoff were run smoothly.
