Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well-designed and teachers are highly qualified here. I'm in a batch of 74 students but you also have to study on your own like notes, from the library n all. There are two semesters obviously every year and the whole semester is around 4 months. The exam level is average. Like I you study properly then you can score well easily.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there If you work for it you can grab it. Although it can be little bit harder for core branches. Highest stipend is offered by sprinklr i.e 1.8 lakhs per month. Average internship stipend is 59,000 per month
Placement Experience
The internship session starts after the end of the second year i.e fourth semester. Around 97 percent of students got placements this year. 420+ offers are of 20lpa+ The highest package goes 1.83cr and average around 15-16lpa Students here usually prepare for tech placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here are slightly more than any NIT IIT or IIIT. Like I paid 2,19,000 for 1st year and it'll cost around 10-11lakhs for the whole course. Although scholarships are given on an income basis by the college itself and most of the govt schemes are eligible here. Talking about the placement scenario of 2022-23, the average package is 15-16lpa and 25lpa for the CSE branch 14 students grabbed offers of 1cr+ and the highest package is 1.83cr by AMAZON IRELAND There are many internship opportunities here average stipend is 59,000 and the highest is 1.8 lakh per month by sprinkler.
Campus Life
The ENGIFEST, the annual fest of DTU is the biggest fest in North India along with it, there are lots of fest conducted by the Cultural Council of DTU and different societies also. Sports Complex is one of the best places at DTU. All major games and sports playgrounds are there with a well equipped gym and outdoor gym also. There are lots of societies which will help in personality development along with this, tech societies, dance societies and literary societies are there.
Admission
You have to clear JEE mains with a very good rank to get admission into DTU. Although 85% of the seats are reserved for Delhi students only. And rest 15% are for outside states. Reservation is given to obc, sc, st and EWS students.
