I choose computer Engineering as I was interested in it. I was in touch with coding from my 12th class. Also, it has the highest opportunities so I preferred computer engineering. The ratio of coe faculty to students is around 16:1. There are professors, and assistant professors, who mostly have done their masters from foreign universities. There are PhD scholars who are always there to help us. Every subject is taught 5 hours a week. In March we have our mid-term and in may we have our end term of the even semester. The odd semester mid-term is in September and the end term is in December. After every sem, we have a break of around 15 days. Mostly subjects which are theoretical are judged on the basis of midterm end term and attendance, while others may include practicals or some projects or class presentations. Subjects are not so hard, we prepare within the last of the exam and are able to get a good score. Attendance should be maintained at more than 75%. Cheating is not possible.

An almost equal amount of companies visit for internships and Around 500 students get internships. I didn't get any internships from my campus, Mostly companies take a coding test and a few rounds of interviews for internships.

The placements are quite good. Almost every student gets placed. 97% of students get placed Around 300 companies visit the campus. The average package of 1500000. Highest on campus offer of 64 lakhs made by apple. I will work as a software engineer for 2 years and complete my madters then.

The fee is quite high 215000 per year. Scholarship and financial assistance are provided to all the students who have low income. Many of my friends were given a 100% fee waiver by DTU as they have an income of less than 100000.

If you enjoy the college, believe me, dtu would be one of the best college. There are many fest conducted every year like Engifest, yuvaan etc. engi and yuvaan are in February. Dtu has a big library with 4 floors with may books, papers and journals available . Dtu has a great sports council, and many sports events are conducted every year like arena, prakarm and ahvaan.

Dtu has a big hostel capacity. Ac and non Ac both types of hostels are available with good cleaning capacity. A quite normal mess facility, including 4 meals - breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. Breakfast and snacks are limited. Everything else is unlimited.

I got admission via jee mains, Conducted by NTA, form can be found on NTA official website, fees for boys was 1000 rs, the last date of form was in December, there are two mains exam in one year The admission process is quite smooth and easy.
