Remarks

College is very good. It is an underrated college of delhi university.

Entrance Preview

Rajdhani college is affiliated to university of delhi. Admission in delhi university is purely on basis of merit. It means marks which you got in 12th boards are only basis of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Financial accounting is basic primary introduction to accounts. There is corporate accounting course for introduction to corporate world. Then microeconomics and macroeconomics theory along with direct and indirect tax are taught in 2nd year. In 3rd year more applied courses such as financial managemnt, cost accounting and managmnt accounting are being taught. Course is well balanced to offer maximum exposure for all fields and concepts in economics.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college does not provide any type of intternship. However there is a placemnt cell in our college. But they are not active in providing intrnships.

Placement Experience

3.5

Though not many companies visit the College campus, but it's still better than many of the other off campus colleges. Average package is around 3-4 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered in 2015 was 7 lakhs per annum. The college doesn't take a keen interest in providing Internships to the students

College Events

3.5

Transcend - annual fest of rajdhani college. This is the biggest festival of college.other society festivals are also celebrated by respective departments. For example dept of commerce celebrates exordia ..dept of scince celebrates alohmohra. Jan to may is the time in which fests goes on.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible . Not expensive at all. Overall it is 10000 per annum which is cheap given the infrastructure facilities of college. There are no additional expenses for college fees or any hidden charges. But xharges are extra for exam fees at 500 and various on-campus things such as society funds, buying sweatshirts etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I did not avail any scholarship. But there are many need based and merit scholarships, awards. Private and public banks can also give loans.

Campus Life

4

The crowd of the college is getting better by each ending year. The crowd has changed drastically from last 3 years. But it could not be compared with the campus colleges. Surely it's getting better with students from different regions and good families are taking admissions into the college. So it's a plus point.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is not any hostel facility in the college. However student can get the PG at back side of college in the residential area of ramesh nagar. PG rentals are aroung 7000 to 15000.there are just 5 min walk away from college.there are separate PG for girls.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful. They share notes, previous year papers and tips of success. They are nice mentors and coach. All of them are very friendly. We hangout together, there is no bullying. All alumni is well placed. If you connect with alumni who are placed , they help with industry information and help get jobs and intern-ships.

Exam Structure

There are exams throughout the year. Internal assessments, then college exams, university projects, internal exams, then final university exams. University exama are conducted by Delhi university and checked by teachers employed by university. However intrnal assmnt are conducted by college and checked by college teachers.

Admission

I took CBSE board exams for class 12 and scoring 95% marks in best of 4 took admission in Delhi University's Rajdhani College. Because I want to do b.com hons and Rajdhani college is well connected from my home. All notifiactions are released on du.ac.in.

Faculty

4

The teachers are experienced and qualified. The college has a good mix of experienced and young teachers. They compliment each other well. The student to faculty ratio is around 40:1. You have to take initiative in order to clear doubts and taking extra classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
