Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a general MBA for 2 years. It covers various subjects like marketing economics operations and finance. Apart from these, there are some writing and presentation courses as well as ethics classes.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 2200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are internships offered in all domains such as consulting, marketing and finance by various MNCs including the Big 4, BCG, and Kearney as well as various banks and financial institutions like HDFC, JPMC, SBI, and marketing roles by Pepsi, Asian paints and Phonepe

Placement Experience

The placements are in line with what one would expect from IIM Indore but there is an issue of random shortlists and a student-run placement cell that is unable to deal with things efficiently. Summer placements are random while finals are more organized

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is 21 lakhs for two years which may be increased for future incoming batches. There are some scholarship schemes available by the Madhya Pradesh government for only MP students as well as EWS admissions

Campus Life

Life at the campus is hectic as there is a lot to cope with in a short period of time. The first two trimesters are extremely tiring but with the help of seniors and peers, it is manageable. There are various committees, clubs, and societies on the campus focusing on various domains like marketing operations finance, etc

Hostel Facilities

There are single rooms for all MBA participants with ample storage and ventilation in rooms. There are some old hostels and some new and each of them has its own benefits. Clean drinking water is a problem on campus with only Aquaguard available without RO.

Hostel Fee: INR 300000 per year

Admission

Took CAT exam and secured 96.5 percentile. There was a personal interview held which covered some basic GK questions about the news of the time and questions related to my undergraduate. They were conducted online but then have shifted to offline

Interview Experience

There was no Group Discussion or Written Test but there was a personal interview round. The interview lasted for an average of 20-25 minutes and I was asked questions related to my undergraduate, current news affairs, and questions about why MBA.

There is no improve required but the classes attendence also mandatory

In this college I will eligible for placement in 3rd sem I have visited reformers, Choice international, TCS, Tele performance 700000 In this college the ratio of placement is 75% My plans after getting the degree do become successful

Nice place to pursue your masters

Admission:

Admission process is pretty straight forward. Students are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance throughout. The applicant must have a graduation degree to be eligible for applying for the Master's program.

Remarks:

My overall experience at IMI is good. The institution is nice, the infrastructure of the college is nice and beautiful with all its furniture and all, the reception is nice. All the faculty members including the non-working staff were very friendly.

Great Experience!!

Remarks:

College creates a very vibrant and positive college atmosphere that is conducive to learning and participating actively in whatever goes on. The management is student-friendly, and I believe that issues can be resolved through a dialogue. Very good and very relaxed. Especially about clothes, sitting and working in the corridors or waiting for the next class. They respected us and treated us like adults which is very helpful.

I don't think this college has any bad remarks to make, to be honest and there may be better colleges or universities out there, but personally I enjoyed my time in this college and learn so many new things from this college. The overall college management was splendid.

What I know about IIM Indore

Any student who has passed 12th class with more than 60%(General) and more than 55%(SC,ST,PWD) and are more not more than 20 yrs old(general) and not more than 25 years old(SC,ST,PWD) can apply for the examination. I took the CAT Exam. This exam is taken for all IIMs. I scored a decent percentile in it. Afterward, the process involved a written aptitude test and an interview. For a written aptitude test, an essay is given, for which you have to write 300 words in 30 minutes. Regarding the interview, it will be a general interview for 20-30 minutes. Reputed brand name, one of a kind course which was only offered by IIM Indore, opportunity to join an IIM right after schooling. This course is interdisciplinary includes finance, statistics, economics, psychology, Sociology, media literacy and highly varied courses including dance, drama and public speaking which helps in the overall development of the student and moulds him/her into a complete person with ethical business acumen.
