Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is enough for graduated students to compete in International markets and get jobs or even go for research work in the future. The faculty-student ratio is generally 1:75. Faculty are highly qualified with a minimum of a doctorate in their respective fields. The exams have not been timed enough with a semester length of three months for the first 3 semesters, the syllabus was rushed, and that with complete syllabus. The 4th sem onwards is 5-6 months long semesters to study the syllabus at a good pace.

Internships Opportunities

The highest stipend offered for an internship was INR 2 lakhs per month. In DTU placements 2021, the highest internship stipend stood at INR 1 lakh per month. The top Recruiter during the internship session was Sprinklr with the highest offer of INR 2 lakhs per month. The average stipend was INR 59,000 per month for the session.

Placement Experience

The placements at Delhi Technological University (DTU) are quite good. DTU has a dedicated placement cell that works closely with companies to provide students with opportunities for internships and full-time employment. The placement percentage at DTU is consistently high, with a large number of students securing job offers from leading companies each year. In recent years, the placement percentage has been over 85% for most programs. DTU has a strong industry network and attracts a large number of recruiters from reputed companies across a variety of sectors, including IT, finance, consulting, and manufacturing. Some of the top recruiters include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and McKinsey. In the 2022 session, 795 offers were made with packages between INR 10 LPA and INR 20 LPA. Highest package INR 1.2 Cr p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees of each academic year are in increasing order with 206000 for 1st year to 246000 for 4th year. A student requiring financial assistance get aid from University with aid varying from 25% -100% fee waiver. Scholarships for minority and SC/ST/OBC classes are provided and merit-based scholarships are also provided by govt.

Campus Life

The campus life at Delhi Technological University (DTU) is a mix of academic rigor and extracurricular activities. - Social Life: DTU has a vibrant social life with a diverse student population from all over India. The university has a number of student-run clubs and organizations that offer opportunities for students to socialize and get involved in various activities. There are also several events and festivals(ENGIFEST, YUVAAN, etc) that are organized throughout the year, providing students with the opportunity to have fun and make new friends. - Clubs: DTU has a variety of clubs, including technical clubs, cultural clubs, and sports clubs. These clubs provide students with the opportunity to pursue their interests and develop new skills. Some of the popular clubs at DTU include the Robotics Club, Music Club(Madhurima)a , Dramatics Club(Pratibimb), Dance club (VIBE and Nrityangana), and Sports Club. There are Tech and Business oriented clubs at DTU with huge number of accomplishments.

Admission

10+2 with min. 75% marks having physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects. JEE MAINS was required for admission with a cut-off rank for general Delhi candidates under 10000 for the computer engineering branch. JAC DELHI conducts the counseling for DTU. During counseling, the eligible candidates are allotted seats based on their rank in the entrance exam and the availability of seats in their preferred program. Finally, the selected candidates are required to complete the admission formalities, which include submitting the required fee, producing original documents, and completing other admission-related procedures. I availed OBC reservation and got admission to the computer engineering branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.
