Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for mechanical engineering as I have a deep interest in physics. Every faculty here in the KIET group of institutions are highly educated and most of them are PHDs. Many faculties have studied at IITs and NITs. The faculty here are very supportive and helpful. They have good and deep knowledge of their particular subjects. The faculty-student ratio is about 60 to 1 which is quite good for college students. The examinations are also held timely with a great level of questions that can be useful in other competitive exams too.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are given by the college itself after every semester to students till the second year. For the students in 3rd and 4th year, the internships are done through various industries. Also, the projects are also given after every semester to students which are categorized as Major and Minor projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is about 1.2lac per annum for btech program in which I'm enrolled for now. This amount of fee is very good and affordable for this quality of the college. The college administration os is also very good and flexible with fees. There are lot many ways through which a student can avail of scholarships. For example, a student can get some reward money from college based on their academic performance. The fee hike is very minor when compared to other colleges. Overall this is the best pocket-friendly college at this point.
Campus Life
The social life here at the KIET group of institutions is very beautiful and most importantly it's ragging free campus. There are a bunch of college clubs like music club dance clubs sports clubs coding clubs etc. There are two fests organized every single calendar year. The library at our college is also well-equipped with the most recent books and journals. Classrooms here are also well furnished and very clean there are proper arrangements of seats and cameras are installed at two corners of the classroom. There are also various social clubs that are run by college students like uddhesya.
Admission
The admission process was very simple and easy. I had to appear for the UPTU entrance examination back in 2020 for my admission to KIET college. The eligibility to appear in this entrance examination was a 12th pass with 60 %. I found my application form online.
