Course Curriculum Overview
I am a student of Electrical and electronics engineering. The teaching experience is much better, as the teachers are much more experienced and the faculties are much more familiar with the technology. The faculties have good qualifications. For assistant professors the qualification is pg and for professors the highest qualification is Ph.D. The exams are taken very frequently. We can consider that in a particular semester every month, there is an exam and before the final examination, there is a proper gap of about a month for final exam preparation.
Internships Opportunities
There is a proper organization that is working over internships. Every day or week the students will get mail from IRPC regarding internships. Department also helps in providing all the permission regarding the internship. It also helps in providing international internships.
Placement Experience
From 6 semesters onwards the students become eligible for campus placement. The training program was started by the college itself in preparation for placement. Some of the companies are Accenture, Adani, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, DXC, etc. The highest package for 2019-2023 is 25 lakhs and the average package of 5 to 6 LPA. Adani offered the post of GET and many software companies offered the post of software engineer as well. At the end of the course, all the students have got placed. Even some of the students got placed in more than 2 companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of btech is 112799Rs annually. There is no such hike in tuition fee but consist of some extra expenses for books, library, and other stuff. If we talk about scholarships, then the UP scholarship scheme can be applied by students who are citizens of uttar pradesh and have a family income of less than 2lakhs annually. There is 100 % placement assurance from the college side with a stipend of an average of 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
The priority of the college is to host the tech fest. The annual fest named EPOQUE is held after a particular interval of time. Other than this college is also involved in sports activities, and the sports fest is also organized on campus annually. The subject-related books are allotted before the beginning of the semester. And other than this the student can also allot the books from the library. There is some restriction on staying on campus other than college time. So for playing any sport or extracurricular activities, students have to take written permission from the dean's office(student welfare). There are several social clubs run on campus for football there is a club called fckiet, and for coding, there is DSC Kiet, innogics, and coding corner. For creativity there is c-cell. Our college also had a Ted-X club which was run by the students. All the clubs have their website and social media handles.
Admission
At present Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is the only way to take admission to college. The cutoff must be different for every branch. The non-core branches have a higher cutoff than the core branches. Some percentage of seats are reserved for the locals. The ratio is about 30 and 70. 30 percent of seats are reserved for locals and the administration is based on jee mains exam or exam conducted by the college itself on a particular date.
