Course Curriculum Overview
Basically, we belong to a family where mechanical work is going on at every time. So we make a desire to make a mechanical engineers. In the mechanical department of nit Srinagar is widespread in an institution with a large scope of education. Almost all the teachers are highly Ph.D. and have long-time teaching experience. and there is a timely exam is going without any problems.
Internships Opportunities
Currently, we don't have any internships because we are third-semester students. almost all PSU like DRDO, ISRO, and Oil India indoors offers internship for the students. Currently, my department students work on the project of Mahindra organized racing car. We also want to work on motorcycles.
Placement Experience
Last year's placement is extremely excellent. If I talk about my department students grant a higher package of 22 lack provided by oil India PSU. And lower is 6 lack and moderate is 8-9 lack and placement percentage of all the students of my branch is 78 percent. Some students go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically, This course is out for the lower middle-class family in fee but government provides a lot of scholarships for different students. So lower middle class is also easily persuaded. We belong in the category of below one lack so we grant full fee remission. I don't get any kind of job on campus as a finance assistant.
Campus Life
There are in the institution lot of clubs that organized a lot of fest at every opportunity. institution management also organizes National fest, competition codding competition cricket, football. This year my institute also win inter NIT staff Cricket tournament organized by VNIT .and the classroom of the college is not expected bad but not comparable with other NITS.
Hostel Facilities
Basically, NIT Srinagar has 7 hostels for boys all the hostels are good and situated in almost the bank of dal lack ( famous lack of Srinagar) rent of a hostel is 16000 per year. but a meal at a hostel is not much better like other colleges hostels .but price is more for that kind of food price also hikes due to the locality of Srinagar. Low transport.
Admission
Firstly Eligibility into this college, There is an exam called JEE Mains through this we grant entry into college. Application of this exam comes in the month of December every year and the exam starts in the last of January for the first season second season starts in march. Basically, we have no kind of reservation. Because I have to take admitted to other states NIT also belongs to OBC but was granted a seat in a cab round. So we did not grant any kind of reservation. I think in process of admission response time should be minimum. The college is great.
