Due to the high demand for tech computer science and engineering be the best for a good placement point of view and more number of internships and placement opportunities. Faculty-student ratio is approx 1:30

The fee is quite high as compared to nits and other state universities But University also provides good financial assistance and scholarship to students on the basis of their family parental income. Fees hike is approximately 5-7 % every academic year

The annual cultural fest is Engifest conducted by the Cultural council in February tentatively every year. Annual tech-fest is Invictus and Sports councils conduct Annual sports fest AAHVAAN and inter-department sports fest Arena

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very poor. Not hygienic and poor food quality at high rates. Hostel charges are also hiked suddenly 4 to five times last semester in 2022. You can get affordable accommodation nearby easily.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission on the basis of merit in JEE mains. Since state colleges have 85% state quota so for outside delhi general category students must be in the top 0.3 percentile for computer science. For delhi students in the top 1 percentile would get computer science

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
