Life at IBS Hyderabad

The course Curriculum will involve 1 year of mandatory courses and the second year is directed toward specialization. In the second year, students can choose the electives they want to study. Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable; they incorporate class discussions and Harvard case studies to teach concepts.

The college provides internship opportunities. The students can apply for the internship listings from the college portal and if the students are not able to get the internship from a college application or from a self-generated option then the college assigns them an internship.

The college offers campus placements. The placement process starts in the 3rd semester and continues till the students are placed. The placements start with finance jobs and then move to market, HR, and operations.

The fee structure is high compared to other colleges and the college provides scholarship opportunities. Students are also given merit scholarships for a high CGPA. With regard to campus jobs, the college provides good opportunities for finance and marketing jobs.

Life at the campus is fun and engaging. The campus is 30-40 mins away from the city and the students can go to many restaurants and cafes in the city. The campus is big and students can get in touch with nature.

The campus provides hostels with single and sharing rooms. The students pay the fee according to their hostel block and they have good connectivity with everything on the campus- academic block and the mess. The hostel also provides a housekeeping facility.

ICFAI Business School takes CAT and IBSAT. I gave IBSAT and it was a fairly easy exam. It was a virtually monitored exam and it can be taken from anywhere. The next steps involved a presentation and personal interviews.

In the virtual process, presentations and personal interviews were conducted. The presentation was given on a topic of the candidate's choice and the personal interviews included a basic introduction and other questions by the faculty.
