Remarks

College should show a bit.. No a lot interest in activities other than study too It's a safe and good place for getting degree But when it comes to sports events symposium and other stuff which is normal in other college its gone be a negative.

Entrance Preview

I selected the college via Anna University counseling after getting my 12th mark, one can also get admission through management Quota fees and all other facilities are equal for both type of entries

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Actually college only teaches and guide students course structure is designed and framed by Anna University, professor teach the syllabus, even the exam are conducted by Anna University where questions paper come from Anna University and results are declared by them all college affiliated with the anna University will get same exam schedule except for few autonomous institutes

Internships Opportunities

No college doesn't provide anything like that, Internship are to be done by self interest only. But they take for industrial Vista every semesters but that's too a period repeated one for every batch

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements are good for some branches but for civil engineering it's worse, Some top companies like Accenture, Infosys, CTS, Wipro visit the campus but civil engineer are not making into it. No specific core company came for civil branch, but other branch students are placed with an average package of 3 lks/annum

College Events

1

Okay there was a college festival I attended in my final year conducted by final year student

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees it's actually more or less equal to NIT's we have a compulsory mess and transport facility for day scholar and hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys but I heard rules are strict inside the hostel other than that fees is actually in par with other college in this standard

Fees and Financial Aid

First graduate Scholarship are given to eligible students via TNEA counseling other that that I didn't hear about any scholarships givin by management

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life - nothing extraordinary Simple and neat Gender ratio - it depends upon branch in civil 1:14 in mechanical 1:250 In Cs IT Eve almost 1:1 No extra actives encouraged by management inside campus Very very few get opportunities to get into sport team of college Volleyball is mainly concentrated and sports Quota students are give more preferences

Hostel Facilities

4

I have not stayed in hostel but I write as my friends said Hostel facilities are good rooms are clean laundry is available bathroom are clean and properly maintained but rules and restrictions are very very high that one have to be highly capable to survive there Mess - it's the best college mess in the city according to others but I would say it's normal and decent, I didn't find anything extraordinary in it

Alumni/Alumna

I don't think so, still I hadn't experienced any such thing. May b in future, but this college was started in 2000 so by now in 2017 more that 10 batch students are graduated so the alumni network will be building stronger in future

Exam Structure

Semester Exam are conducted by Anna University, College doesn't have control over it 10 -2 marks = 20 marks 05 - 16marks =80 marks This the pattern we followed For both semesters and internal and model exam There may be slight change in internal exam patterns rarely but in our college the structure which is prescribed by Anna University is strictly followed

Admission

I got admission through tnea counseling, it's a simple process by Govt. Of Tamil Nadu after 12th exam we applied for counseling and I got random number. Students are allowed a specific date and batch to select their college, 400+ college participate in TNEA counseling in that my college is a reputed one which will for sure be in top place every year like will be filled by students with 192+ cut-off (outoff 200)

Faculty

3.5

Mostly every are good and having a great technical knowledge about the subjects, only those who have a masters degree from reputed College are taken as professors. Mostly everyone will help to understand all concepts and its easy to approach them. Tamil and English are spoken by every professor so other state students without knowing the language will find difficult in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
