Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose Software Engineering because I want to build my carrier in the Tech field and I found B.Tech-SE the best option for that. The faculty: student - 1:75. The faculties are too good in their subjects, they are highly qualified and some of them have great teaching skills as well. The term exams are conducted in around 1.5-2 months and it is not that difficult for one to pass the exams if he/she starts preparing for the same 1 week before.

Placement Experience

4

The placement scenario is quite simple and best as well here. Here are all the big companies like AMAZON, FLIPKART, MICROSOFT, SPRINKLER, PAYTM, and many more. Students here become eligible for the placement from 3rd year, Students who get internships in big companies like amazon and google then they can get the PPO(pre-placement offer) as well to secure their job after course completion. Also, many students want to pursue their post-graduate studies, so DTU is a great name to get selected abroad as well because DTU is named a great university in many countries.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, of course, there is a fee hike for the last few years, and In fact, this hike got all over the world and not just in DTU. It is difficult for one to pay fees on their own, so there is loan availability and a sbi branch is opened as well on the college campus itself. The university offers merit scholarships for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority category and a post metric scheme for Sc candidates. For the Btech continuous education program: The students whose family annual income is less than 4.5lakhs per annum are eligible for fee concession for students belonging to lean financial condition.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest of DTU- Engifest (North India's biggest fest). Techfest, Esummit, and more fests are conducted all year. Library: The library of DTU is decent enough and contains major books of the syllabus of every course going on here. Amenities in classrooms: Classrooms are fully furnished with AC installed, whiteboard, Projector, and screen. Dtu contains almost every sport like cricket, football, table tennis, pool, kabaddi ground, lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc. In DTU teachers are also supportive of extracurricular activities and allow students in their period to work on that if possible. Here societies are uncountable, you name it and dtu have a society for that, and if not then you can start yours as well for the same.

Admission

Eligibility - After the 12th or 12th appearing students can apply for the jee mains exam. The application form you can find on the official website of NTA, application fees vary according to the reservation system, and the dates are generally in January. Reservation benefits you will get on the application fees and the cutoff as well. No, the admission process was well enough maintained for me, and I don't face any issues regarding it.

Other Applied Colleges

Netaji Subhas University of Technology - [NSUT] West Campus | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Information Technology)

Because , I got admission in DTU's Software Engineering course which i found better than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
