- Campus : the lush green 161 acre campus is a pure piece of beauty. Greatly managed. You will see peacocks and more friendly beings more often.
- Atmosphere : DTU is very chill as compared to other colleges. You'll not have much workload
- Exposure : the crowd is damn good. They are just a mixture of smart and hard work.the exposure you'll get here will definitely enhance your personality
Dislikes
- Faculty: they hold grudges and don't give marks..they just read out ppt and doesn't focus on learning
- Security : a bit off as there is no as such security anybody can just enter the college.
- Food : mess canteen doesn't provide quality food and one cannot rely on fhese
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty here is good, the teachers are enthusiastic about their field of expertise. They want to teach and so goes for the student also. Coming to the ratio it's around 50:1. Quality is topmost, the best you can expect. You'll have two exams one Mid sem and one end sem. They are easy to pass, just study exponentially, and don't pile up to the end.
Internships Opportunities
An internship here is mostly for girls and boys need to apply for off campus. One needs to go on with C++, DSA, Java, and web for being an apt candidate for an internship. Many companies come like sprinkler, uber, Google, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are great here. The average package of my branch is 18 lakh, coming to cse 26 lakhs, IT 22 lakh, Software 20 lakh. Around 350-400 companies visit the college. The highest package offered was 2 Crore. Around 80% of the students get placed. Most of the students opt for MBA, UPSC, and other exams for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here are increasing every year. My first-year fees are 219k, second year 229k, third year 236k, and fourth year 245k. All combined you'll have your engineering in 10-11 lakhs. Scholarships you can apply for are like MCM, Delhi government, NSP, and one of DTU itself.
Campus Life
Fests are the best part of DTU. You'll have Freshers, Engifest, Techfest, Yuvaan - literature fest, and many more. You'll witness the best concerts of your life here. The library is a bit off as you need to be fast as the books easily get out of stock. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Sports are damn good, a huge sports complex is right there with cricket, football, badminton, TT, kabaddi, Volleyball, basketball, and in short every sport.
Admission
Admission here is done based on JEE Mains examination. You need to score a minimum of 92 percentile to get into DTU. After jee mains result, you need to apply for JAC DELHI Counseling and then you'll be allotted college. You need to go for the document verification process there and voila your admission is done in India's one of the prestigious institutes.
