DTU- Paradise for Engineering

The course curriculum is well designed for the 1st year all the students are divided into GROUP A & B subjects for Group A are:- Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Basic Mechanical engineering, and FEC (Foundation elective courses), and Group B:- Physics, Maths, Basic electrical engineering, Programming fundamentals (C language is taught) and FEC (Foundation elective courses) the faculty to student ratio is quite decent as 1:15. All the teachers are well qualified and experts in their respective fields. The exams are conducted twice in a semester i.e. MID-SEMS and END-SEMS and the difficulty of the papers are quite standard but if you will be regular with your studies you can easily ace the exams.

Many companies come just after the completion of 2nd year for giving internships for 3rd-year students major companies include Google, Atlassian, sprinkler, MakeMyTrip Amazon Microsoft BHEL GAIL Texas instruments. In the last internship season, the highest stipend given by sprinkler for the SDE intern role was of 2Lac/month. Also, many students do research under professors so there is a huge list of papers published by students and faculties of our institute.

Nearly all branches of the college are offered both internship and placements companies ranging from Amazon, and Google to BHEL GAIL IOCL. The overall highest package stood at 1.2 crores per annum and the DTU average package offered was 16 LPA. More than 85% of students are placed with other students who opt out of placements and either go for higher education or government exam preparation. My plan after getting my degree is to be placed at a Good MNC with a decent package.

There are different scholarships Offered some our category based and some are merit-based also. Plus there are some private scholarships like the Reliance foundation UG scholarship and Fast retailing scholarship and direct job opportunities (for 1st-year students). For fees policy, it increases by Around 5-10% for every academic year. The course fee for the entire duration of B.Tech is around/less than 10 lacs.

The annual fest is ENGIFEST & Tech fest is INVICTUS this year they were conducted in February 2023. All kinds of books, articles, magazines, and journals ranging on different topics are available in the Central Library. The classes for 1st year are conducted in Pragya Bhawan The classes are quite good completely airconditioned and charging points are available in the classes. There are many sports facilities available ranging from Outdoor sports to Indoor sports including cricket, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, Open gym, then Table tennis. billiards. indoor badminton courts.

The admission to DTU is based on your JEE MAINS rank through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). In DTU there is a reservation for DELHI-based candidates i.e. they must have done their schooling from Delhi. For the cutoff, it closed around 3.5k-4k for the CSE branch(Outside Delhi candidates) and around 10K for the CSE branch(Delhi Candidates).
