Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science is the most sought-after course out there and Coding, Software, and Artificial Intelligence excite me the most that's why I chose this course. The student-faculty ratio is 12:1, which is quite good. All faculty members are highly qualified. Most Prof. is Ph.D. from prestigious institutions like IITs. Due to Covid exams were not conducted at a time otherwise curriculum goes strictly and the schedule is released earlier.
Placement Experience
Students at the end of 3rd year appear for interviews in campus placement. DTU has one of the best placements records. The highest placement overseas is 1.84 crore and domestic is 80 lakhs. Around 100% of student gets placed in the computer science branch. This year around 384 companies visited for placements. The average package for Computer Science is 17-18 LPA. FAANG companies also visit the college. I plan to take the best possible placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are higher when compared to normal colleges but comparable to IITs and other Engineering Institutes. Also, a constant rise in fees takes place every year. But there are Scholarships and financial aid offered by the college as well as the government to deserving students. Some private organizations also offer Scholarships which is quite helpful.
Campus Life
Campus Life is indescribable. Engifest, Techfest, and various cultural fests are conducted from time to time. Recently Engifest was conducted. The college library is very big, with thousands of books and the best infrastructure. Classrooms have good infrastructure and all are equipped with ACs and smartboards. The College Sports complex is very big and has facilities for Cricket, Football, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Athletics, Volleyball, etc. There are Clubs and societies for almost all fields ranging from AI-Robotics to singing.
Admission
DTU is a prestigious University so admission is done via JEE MAINS. Based on JEE MAINS ranking JAC Delhi Counselling is conducted and seats are allotted. During JAC counseling required documents are submitted and fees for counseling are paid which get compensated later in first-year fees. The admission process is completely online and smooth.
