Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is between tech and design .it's more like computer science and design .faculty is good and the university is trying for the best. The electives are from the 6th semester and are great. From graphics to industrial all types of electives are available.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 219000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement to university is great The highest Placement is 1.06 cr. The minimum package is 8 lakh. The average package is 15 lakh. The median package is 18 lakh. Top companies visit our campus and there are gr8 opportunities available.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for college are 2.19 lakh and hostel fees yearly are 1 lakh in total around 3 lahks. Hostels are strict and bound to rules .placement at the university is great and our first batch hasn't yet graduated so design placement is known to none.

Campus life is great. The campus is huge and NSUT has many events going on. There are many societies you can join . MOKSHA REZONANCE is a great fest all over north India. The sports facility is available at the hostel as well university sports Complex.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good and there are single rooms and double rooms .sports facility is inside the hostel and we get table beds and storage in the room. PG is available near the university easily. cost of the hostel is 1 lakh nearly don't know about PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

You can get admission THROUGH UCEED NID NIFT and Delhi students they can get admission on basis of the 12th percentage also. The cutoff is high for Product design. 10/60 are for other all states and 50 for Delhi students. out of 10 seats 4 seats are for the general category.

IITD from a first years perspective

Likes

I like how the campus was big and had all the facilities from sports to extra curricular there is everything you want to do.
The seniors are friendly and whole environment is encouraging and helps in your growth
It’s affordable if you consider the facilities it’s giving and also supports you financially later on.

Dislikes

The hostel wasn’t that good and air conditioning was not allowed. During peak summers you really can’t stay in your rooms.
The pace of everything is pretty fast so you have to be mentally prepared for it
The drainage system isn’t good. It’s the same as the rest of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The placements are great. The department responsible for placements is OCS and they are the best at their job they find top class recruiters and that too from big companies in your field. They also teach you how to prepare for them from the first year itself.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placement sessions. Companies visited are all tech companies core, non-core, etc. The highest package is 1cr and the average is 8 lakhs, 90% of students got placed. Pursuing MBA after this degree.

Insight to Pearl Academy

Placement Experience:

Placements are relatively good in comparison to other fashion colleges and placements start during the 7th semester. Companies like Raymond and high level MNCs come to the campus for placement opportunities. Highest package goes upto 10lpa and 1-2lpa on average. Students having CGPA greater than 8 are offered good packages.

I miss my college life at IIAD!

Placement Experience:

The placement cell was very supportive - I now work for a UI UX design consultancy. Got placed from the college itself. Before that, I got a chance to complete 3 different industry internships -one of them was for 4 months - giving me so much exposure. I learned the maximum during this one.

Entrance Preview:

Entrance examination is conducted by the college itself! And there is no such score.. They tell if the student has cleared for the interview or not! And i opted for this college because this is one of the top five design colleges in India.

Great Memories

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks but one bad remark is that you have to continue your course from the university in Sohna after 2 years of span at the college in Delhi. This is to populate the university and to get the right kind of exposure from their but, in the end its all a happy memory.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. 1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2.
