Review about college life in dtu

I choose this course as I want to pursue my engineering in mechanical only and also my percentile was not very much high and only left with these choices. faculty to student ratio is 1:73 but there are many PhD scholars who help us in improving our subject. also don't expect very much from the faculty as it is a government college. exams are easily cracked and most of the questions come from the teacher notes only and only 2 exams are held in one semester. I must say exams are not very difficult to pass and even if you study 1 week before or in some subject one night before you can achieve good grades

Many companies turn up for internships at DTU. Depending on the branch you are from, there are companies for Computer Science, IT, ECE, EE, Mechanical and other departments. Last year we saw Qualcomm, Toshiba, Tata Steel, Mazares, Tata Power DDL, Delloitte amongst others coming for internships, and this number seems to be growing.

After 7 semesters you are eligible for dtu placement also many companies visit and recruit students. there are many companies that apply barriers on basis of your cgpa and branch But most of the students get placed

Fees are not very high but it ranges around 10-11 lakh for four years and every year there is 10-20k hike Also, financial assistance is given to needy students and some cash rewards are also given to students who are top of their class. The college also provides internship opportunities and campus jobs

Life on the campus is very chill .your social life will depend upon you and which kind of friends you make. also on campus, you can talk to anyone .there is no ragging on campus. There are many extracurricular activities held on campus also sports events are also organised and fests are just awesome. There are many societies in which you can take part which improves your all over behaviour.

The hostel facility is good but not very good. Rooms are just ok ok. Do not expect very much from hostel rooms Hostel room chromatin almirah for two and bed and study table and chair. Mess food is worst but there is some mess around college just 100m apart where you can take the mess. The registration process for a hostel is simple you have to fill out one form issued by the hostel on the dtu site and then if your name appear on the list you have to do the necessary thing asked by the hostel office also rooms are given firstly to the outside delhi candidates and for female students, hostels are very good and even if you are delhi candidate you can take hostel easily

The admission process was very much smooth you just have to fill out the registration form on jac delhi website and then submit the necessary documents on the portal and afterwards do your choice filling of branches .application fess is? 1500 which you can pay by online mode only. also don't panic if your rank ranges between 30-50k outside the delhi region as there is a spot round in which you can easily secure your seat in dtu of course, you didn't get your favourite branch but dtu brand name is attached to your portfolio so you can achieve a lot also many high packages in dtu are grabbed by lower branches students like biotech and production
