Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the ece branch is perfect and evergreen as you have both the opportunities to go for tech placements and core placements. the teachers are well-qualified and are good at teaching. some of them enjoy teaching whereas some teach for the salary. the student to faculty ratio is around 1:60.the exams occur in 2monts(mid semesters) and 5 months (end semesters).the exams are tough but you will surpass them anyway.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

the internship opportunities are also good as compared to various colleges. grabbing an internship could be tough but you can also have a fair chance of getting an internship for the college at any point in time whether you are in the first year. the companies that come for internship are google flipkart amazon meta, etc, and offer around 50k in total. mainly offers made are some tech profiles but the core profiles also get a fair chance because of a lot of companies.

Placement Experience

4.5

the placements are the key highlighting factor for students to take admissions in DTU. the students get the opportunity of placement at the end of the 6th semester. the various tech giants visit our college and offer huge money like 2.1 cr was the highest this year. the average package of the college is about 14 lpa it varies through branches as tech branches have around 25lpa. there are various offers made like around 2000 were made this year. the percentage of getting placement is around 80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees are very high but it is normal as compared to iit because its fees it 2 lacs approx but iit has 3 lahks. the scholarship opportunity is fantastic if you are sc/st. but if you are general and obc then it is a little hard to get. there are two scholarships 1. from the e-district Delhi government which is income based not for any category. and also dtu scholarship which they provide to students by taking interviews with students and parents.

Campus Life

4.5

College life is very chill you can find people with a different attitudes towards college life some of them are very chill and some are studious too. DTU organizes the engifest which is the largest fest in north India. in that time it feels like you are in heaven no studies only fun for a week. the classrooms a spacious and good and air-conditioned. the sports complex is very big around 15 acres and has all types of spots you can imagine except swimming. there are various student clubs also like an inferno, Sahitya, cultural council, yuvaan, etc.

Admission

for b.tech you have to give jee mains. then according to your rank, you get admission through jac Delhi counseling. you have to fill out that form and set up the order in which preference you want to get a college and specific branch. the jac counseling is pretty smooth if you didn't mess up in your priority order of counseling. there are various colleges that participate in jac Delhi like nsut, dtu, iiitd, dseu, igdtuw.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
