Course Curriculum Overview
I took DTU computer engineering because I had a prior experience in programming so I was looking for govt. college offering CS. DTU was the best option at my JEE rank(8064). Student ratio is neither great not bad 1:50 approximately. Teachers are highly quailified holidng Master and PHD degrees. They have good research experience. Term end sem exams were completed very fast in 1 week. so it was difficult to prepare as a day scholar. The exam level and moderate and mostly from pyq.
Placement Experience
From 4th year (7th semester onwards) students become eligible for campus placements. More than2400+ offers made from more than 300+ companies. 2000+ students placed. companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon , Flipkart, Paytm, BCG and many more came. Highest package 1.16 CR amazon. Highest domestic 66 LPA Apple for SDE. More than 80+ percent students placed in good firms Will go for software roles after getting DEGREE.
Fees and Financial Aid
there is 5 percent hike every year. Base fee is 2,20,000.1.5 lac is tuition fee,then exam fees, then student development welfare fees, ews fees 10k. I did not get any scholarship through any means in college.
Campus Life
Tech Fest name is TECHFEST conducted in 2nd week of Febraury. 3 days Annual fest- North India biggest fest -> ENGIFEST in February. Ample amount of books are available in library. WIFI and big AC libraray. Some classrooms are small and some lecture halls are big. Seats are okayish. Good lighting and ventilation but structure is old. Versatile sport activities badminton , Table tennis , cricket , lawn tennis , basketball, athletics, gymkhana . Various clubs for each activity. Debating, MUN, Drawing, Dancing, Finance, Business. Coding, Mechanics, Maths, Cultural Council.
Admission
Took JEE MAINS EXAM. 650 rs fees. General Categroy. jeemain.nta.nic is the website. Delhi Region and Outside Delhi region candidate. For DTU, I filled the form of JAC DELHI. Counselling fees was 95,000 which will be adjusted in 1st year college fess (220000).
