- Gender ratio:: dtu has to improve it's gender ratio😂😂.
- Teaching method is not so good at dtu. You have to study from you tube at days before exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have great interest in automotive sector, so i choose automotive engineering in dtu. Student : faculty ratio is about 1:16. All classes held between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm monday to Friday. All faculties are well qualified in there course.but teaching method of some faculty is not the level of there qualification level.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, companies come to dtu for internships. But very less no. Of students get internship opportunities at the campus. If you are a tech student and you have mentioned well cgpa then you can get an internship at the campus. Sprinkler gives max 2,00,000 stipend for an internship. And the average stipend was approximately 55,000.
Placement Experience
Now, this is the main point for selecting any engineering college. So don't worry most of the students will get placement from campus. tech student will get easily placement worth >20 lpa. But non-tech students have to give their best to achieve this number.
Fees and Financial Aid
My 1st-year fee is approximately 206000 and it increases by about 8-10k per year for all students. But college provides scholarships to financially weaker students. But no. Of scholarship given is too less. No problem you can also apply for a scholarship from the e-district delhi and the NSP portal.
Campus Life
You are in dtu, so your campus life will be excellent. Cultural Council and LFC are the main cultural councils of dtu. And a lot of tech society's like IEEE, siam, Innova, e-cell etc present in college. Engifest, yuvaan, homecoming, aarambh, pehli mulakaat are some cultural fest of dtu. Invictus is the annual tech fest of dtu. Aahavan is the annual sports feat. So you can imagine your college life is going to be awesome.
Hostel Facilities
8-9 boys hostel and 3-4 girls hostel available in dtu. Ac and non-ac both types hostels are available. Outside delhi students will get easily a hostel, but delhi students will have to face some difficulties to get a hostel. To be honest most delhi students will not get a hostel. But a large no. Of pg available near dtu.
Admission
For admission to dtu you have to give jee main and then you have to apply for JAC DELHI counselling if you are a Indian citizen. Reservation is also available in jac delhi counselling. Delhi students -85%, others are outside delhi, NRI, foreign students. Delhi student means your 12th is from delhi.
