What Students Say

Likes

Placement cell- it is very supportive and helps students in extra curricular academic activities
Societies and clubs- there are many tech and non tech clubs and societies which you can join without any pre requisite.
Behaviour of teachers- they are very supportive.

Dislikes

Campus area, which is too small to explore.
Infrastructure is not that good, classes are not air conditioned

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose btech in this college because its placement record is good. The average package goes up to 7lpa in well-known companies. Here faculties are very supportive and help to deal with your academic problems. In a year, there are two mid-term and two end-term exams, which are not that difficult to score good marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 128800 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many websites that provide internships like Internshala, twenty19, glassdoor, turn, intern match, etc... If you choose your preferences and upload your resume then automatically you will get updates regarding internships.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th or 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are many well-known companies which visit this college like Deloitte, Accenture, TCS etc including mass recruiters. Around 90-95 per cent of students of CSE/it students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission in 2021, the fee was 128000 in the first year and then 118000 in 2nd 3rd and 4th years. The college does not provide any scholarships. One can avail of scholarships on e district Delhi portal.....

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is not that good as it has a small infrastructure. But there are many societies including tech and non-tech. There is also a sports club in college that takes part in intercollege competitions.

Admission

The campus is situated in Rohini, Delhi. The infrastructure is not that good. The campus area is not that huge, it is around 6-7 acres. Outdoor games are available like cricket, basketball, volleyball, and football and the indoor game includes chess, table tennis...etc... The placement record for cse/it students is good. The highest package was 64lpa in 2022 placements.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
