Entrance Preview

I took admission for MBA through IMU-CET when the college just began. I had 60% in my graduation . Then a friend of mine suggested me to join this college since one of his relative used to work here. So, i joined this college and its has been really amazing journey so far.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college gives utmost importance to practical knowledge and this is achieved by the many industrial visits in the course curriculum and also the guest lecture sessions conducted by the college to improve our knowledge base. This is seen in the dedicated practical exams which is conducted prior to the end term examination in our college.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides some of the best internships in the country. Students get placed in many different domains during their internships from software to proper core companies. I am looking forward to the summer where I want to pursue an internship in a software company.

Placement Experience

Our college has a good placement cell who have great good relation with top companies for placement. They provide 100% assistance in placements but its up to the students to show their caliber and crack the interviews and get placed. More then 30+ companies come in for placements with different job profile.

Campus Life

The learning environment and also the a platform provided in various other aspects like the practical aspects, since the college has a state of the art practical labs and will also encourage you to take part in co-curricular activities for your future development.If more good students join the competition for placement will go up and better placement record will improve further.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

The admission process is very smooth. Students are listed on the merit basis of their percentage in 12th. A minimum of 65 percent is required to get admission. If the percentage is high the admission process is easy. Only 60 seats are available for this particular course. If the seats are not getting full then first come first is being applied. It is the oldest marine college in india and has a legacy of its own. Since it is a government college the fees is comparatively lower than other marine colleges. It has good infrastructure with a campus area of 35 acres with reside in campus facilities for the cadets of the college. It has a workshop of its own and is also the biggest workshop in asia as compared to any other marine college in asia.It also is at a place where we have eveything that a student could need.
