A student of Ignou

I am very happy with my college just because they giving opportunity to low marks students without charging any donation where as other college charge donation for low grade students. This is bad because they are giving opportunity only to good students.

None of entrance examination because my 12th percentage is low and I want a course of computer line. So I took admission in IGNOU. And I am very statisfy that I took admission in IGNOU. They charge less fees for BCA course other than private universities.

Course structure is well managed because they divided the year in two semester so that student can't feel burden of subjects. After 6 months semester changes and after 2 semester it means 1 year completed. We don't need to travel regularly for books or other details. They always message us when you have to fill up next semester form and when you have to fill up examination form. They also give us assignment.

I don't know about this because I am just clear my 1st year. But I think college doesn't provide internship.

College doesn't provide us placements but in companies student's knowledge is tested and our teachers gave us the knowledge so we can answer any question in interview. And anyone can do the graduation from IGNOU of any age. We can take help from teachers for how to achieve life goals.

No events celebrated but our study centre always conduct debate or group discussion on daily life topics so the student always be aware of the surroundings. In debate we discuss about daily life challenge and get a lot of ideas. Discussion is always helpful for us and they also conduct G.K quiz for general awareness.

Fees structure is feasible. They charge rs5000 per semester where in private University like I.P University charge rs80,000 per year for the same course. If we study from I.P we have to pay rs 2 lakh 40 thousand for the 3 year cousre but IGNOU charge rs 30 thousand for 3 year course.

Don't know. But my friends get a scholarship and now he don't pay the semester fees. He study free. That's the great for him because his family struggling now a days because in which company his father working is in loss. And after getting scholarship, he is very happy . And the college provide such scholarship twice in a year.

There is no problem of gender ratios. The number of girls and boys almost same and college taught us not to discriminate. We are one and they conduct debate on such topics so they can improve student thinking because students are the upcoming youths of the country and if student learn this then in life they can achieve anything.

I am not in hostel provided by college. I live with my family so I have no idea about this. But I will rate them 9/10 overall including all requirements which we can expect from our college. Because anyone can study in IGNOU of any age and they provide us good knowledge which is the best part of college.

Our college seniors are very helpful and cool. Sometime when teacher come late then our senior starting taughting us and they also gave us tip about the main subject and how to write in exams for good marks and they also help us in our assignments.

They taught us in Lab also because we are studying computer course. And the lab is clean and the computer systems are working properly and the lab and classroom is chilled. Teachers help us in programming and always give us tip how to manage program easily and how to understand it.

We have to first create our account using gamil I'd in IGNOU. After that we have to fill a admission form in which they ask student name,student address,contact details,10and 12 the certificates and select the course which we want. They message us when admission is confirmed and when you have to take books from college.

Faculty teaches us on weekends Saturday and Sunday. They taught us very nicely and after each chapter they took a test that how student perform. After test result they get idea how students doing and how students improve themselves. They gave us some tips to score in exams like good handwriting and always answer the question to the point.
