Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum seems good as of now, there is approximately 1 professor for every 18 students. The faculties are of course well qualified however the teaching method of a few of them is not good and students feel a gap connecting with them. The exams in DTU are of moderate to easy difficulty.
Placement Experience
Students in 3rd and 4th semester are eligible for campus placements. The placements are great with average package of 19 LPA and highest package of 180LPA. More than 95% of the eligible students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees does increase year to year, the cost for 4 year B Tech course(2022-26) was approximately 9.8 Lacks. But there a lot of scholarship schemes that the college offers to students who are actually in need. About placements, the highest package was ~ 1.8 Crores while average was 19 LPA.
Campus Life
The college life at DTU is one of the best you can get, recently we have had the following fests: 1) Aarambh(Freshers Party): It was a great welcome to us freshers with great performers like Raghav Chaitanya, Forty-Seven, and more. 2) Yuvan(Literature and Film Fest): It was a fun event organized in Feb by the Yuvan team, it witnessed great artists like Rajat Chauhan, Gopal Dutt, and more. 3) Engifest: The Cultural Council organized North Asia's Largest college fest in Feb with main stars: Nuclear, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Amit Trivedi.
Admission
The cutoff for Electrical Branch(inside Delhi) in 2022 was ~38K. The admission process is through JEE and JAC Delhi. All reserved classes can get reservation benefits, also the students who did their 12th from Delhi are eligible for delhi quota(85% quota).
