Remarks

College has many good remarks than the bad. There are many rules enforced to ensure the students to come up with disciplines in all perspective.

Entrance Preview

I went through Anna University counselling with Engineering cut off mark of 191.75 off 200 from higher secondary exam. This college is familiar for better education and good with all disciplines.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have selected electrical and electronics field of engineering. The course curriculum is based on the Anna University syllabus which is followed by all the colleges that falls under control of Anna University. The course covers most of the basic and advanced technologies of electrical and electronics field. Students will gain knowledge about their particular field area in all perspective.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Most of the core related companies offers inetrnsgip for the students who will be selected based on mock test conducted by the respective company. For example, companies like BMW, Mahindra, Saint Gobain, iNautix offers internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements is one of the best compliment which students who studeies in thia college get. College has very good level of placement results every year. During my batch, around 85% of students got placed via in campus placements. Comapnaies like TCS, Wipro, iNautix, Saint Gobain offers jobs to students with starting CTC package of around ₹3,00,000

College Events

3.5

During each acamedic year, many sports events will be conducted in which other college students also come to participate. Technical symposiums will be conducted for each departmens every year. Cultural events will be conducted at the end of academic year. Apart from this, few other management festivals will be conducted occasionally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible when comapred to other colleges. The students should pay their academic fees in two installments. The residential fees is included if the atudents opt to stay in college provided hostel. Also the fee structure varies when the student opt for food provided by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarship for the students who scores above 85% in each academic year. The scholarship amount will vary depending on the score: 85-90, 90-95, 95-100%

Campus Life

4

Campus life is strictly diciplinary. Students are allowed only to wear formals inside college premises. Gender ratio is equal. Opposite genders are not allowed to interact inside the college premises inorder to prevent indisciplinary activities to happen.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Histel facilities are good with inbuit gym and wifi services. The students are not allowed to use personal mobile phones yet they are allowed to have music players and laptops. Only the final year students are allowed to use mobile phones inside hostel premises.

Alumni/Alumna

During my batch, students were not allowed to interact with seniors and this was to avoid some indisciplinary activities like ragging inside the college premises.

Exam Structure

Totally evry batch needs to go through 8 semesters. For each semester, students will be trained with 2 to 3 unit tests which is exclusively conducted by the college. Apart from this, assessment test will be conducted every alternative weeks. Students go through the lab experiments at regular intervals which make them easier to perform well at semester practicals.

Admission

I passed out higher secondary exam with Engineering cut off mark of 191.75 Then I weng through Anna University engineering counselling held at Chennai Guindy campus. During which I selected Sri Sairam Engineering College. The students who applied for engineering counselling were scheduled to attend the counselling at different time slots based on the cut off marks scored in higher secondary exam. During the respective time slot, students should choose one amoung different colleges that was given to them as choices. Then after selecting the college, student will get allocated into that particular college and will ve asked to pay an initial amount for admission.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties in the college are well experienced and are good at transfering the necessary knowledge to the students. They're good at putting efforts to make students learn and excel in their field of study. Also, they conduct few exams to average and below average students who requires extra effort to grasp the field concepts.
