I took JCECE examination for getting this college. I scored 84.5 marks out of 150 in 2015. It is a state government college and the best college of Jharkhand and Bihar. A simple counseling process is taken to allocate seats in different streams according to merit. I got 791 rank
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good if not best. It includes all subjects that are taught in elite colleges. there is good no of practicals and assignments at the student's disposal to keep them hectic. there are also provisions for seminars and project divided along the year
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity are very less. campus placements take place for just non-core branches like IT and CS. The core branches have to rely severely on competitive exams like GATE and CAT etc. Since its a state government college it doesn't provide ample opportunities to students.
College Events
The college organizes its fest every year somewhat in the middle of February. Also, a technical fest is also conducted by our club members. Then there is an annual sports mega-event conducted by our sports club members which include all games. The children do not feel the dearth of entertainment here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite affordable as it is a govt college so most of its expenses are burnt by the state govt itself. It charges a meager fee of 14000 per annum and examination fees of 5700 per annum which is quite less for technical education. Also, scholarships are also there.

All banks provide loans and are enjoyed by many students. also there are many government scholarship schemes like e-Kalyan which provides scholarships for minorities.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite exciting and thrilling. There is a lot of cooperation among juniors and senior students which is peculiar about this college. the gender ratio stands at 1:8 and the girls are mostly in non-core branches. there are nothing intolerance and communal disharmony. any acts of indiscipline are dealt with strictly. There is a robotics lab set up by siemens.
Hostel Facilities
One thing that will pinch you is the infrastructure. But again a lot is being done to improve the hostels. My 1st and the 2nd-year hostel have been converted into hotels or private college hostels. The mess are also good and serve you with non veg at least 5 times a week
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is strong with 1200 alumni members dedicated to the college as I said earlier the seniors are more helpful than our teachers and staff and help in every difficulty
Exam Structure
The exams are very descriptive in nature 10 marks are allotted for class tests another 20 for mid semesters and 70 marks for external exams. this sums up the 100 marks equation labs are included under seasonals and viva is conducted by senior proffers in which grading is done.
Admission
The admission process is simple. candidates have to fill JCECE exam in order to study in this college although other colleges are also given through JCECE this is the oldest and best. Counseling is made in June at Ranchi and all details are provided at its official website jcceb.gov.in
Faculty
The faculty is pretty average and you need to be self-dependent and rely on your seniors for updates..although some faculties are interested and motivated but most just give lectures and go off. you just need to be self-motivated in order to excel in this college
