What Students Say

Likes

Good infrastructure of the college and good place
Good atmosphere of the college and good stuff
Good system of the college no ragging in the college

Dislikes

Strict rules of the college, like every day college otherwise fine
Some teacher have very bad behavior ok in
Some other state students have no protection provide by the college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose diploma in mechanical engineering because i want to be a good engineer since childhood. This college has 100+ faculty and students of around 2000, and the qualification of the faculty is very higher and they give proper guidelines to students for success. But u need to hardwork in this college, 75 % attendance is must in this college, college education system is very easy but u have to lesson properly otherwise u get backlog in the semester examination.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From 5-semester students become eligible for the campus, and names of the companies visited like Peagio, Wipro, Infosys, l&t, and many other big companies. The highest package as per company and profiles offered is around 10lac. The percentage of students getting placement is 99%. My plan after getting the degree is I want to need to be admitted to B. Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are 3 years of around 1.15 lac and I got a job at this college through campus at a very good company package was 4lac per year. Fees most probably will be the same every year according to the college.

Campus Life

The college organized a good annual fest &tech fest name is tech fest is hi-tech fest. Many good singers are coming to the college at the time of the fest. Then the library is soo good for all types of books and all types of branch books are available at any time. The classrooms are very big and good. And college conducted sports like cricket, football, and many types sports. The social group's name is NHIT Club.

Admission

my Diploma college's name is NHIT (west Bengal, Durgapur ) one of the best colleges for diploma engineering. First of all, u need to give an entrance exam zexpo, for zexpo entrance exam u need to collect a form from any other diploma college then u need to fill up it out properly then u can submit it to the college after a few months councils of the exam of zexpo will notify you for the exam then u need to give the exam and u need to achieve a good rank in this exam, after this process u need to counsel at government website and otherwise, u have to come NHIT college then u admitted in the NHIT college, college is very good and the admission process is very simple, 3 years of diploma engineering total course fees is around 1.30lac rupees at first u need admission charge with first semester fees then u will admit in the college and after 6 months u need to pay 2nd-semester fees that are the procedure of the college.

Likes

I love overall atmosphere of the college. The mesmerizing playground of the college is still in my heart. The college consists three buildings for teaching different branches of engineering. The buildings includes labs also
The faculty teachers of each branch are one of the prime reasons of college being a superb college. The faculty teachers are well behaved and exceptionally knowledgeable. They teach the students important life lessons along with the engineering topics
The availability of study materials for the students in our college is huge. Our college have a library which stores more than ten thousand of books for different branches of engineering and of different topics, written by renowned writers

Dislikes

Sadly, There are several things that I dislike about our college. Concern related to drinkable water is one of them. The quality of drinkable that comes from storage is not upto the mark.Although two new water purifiers are installed in our college
Secondly, Our college-buildings need a little bit of repairing because the buildings are reasonably old enough to cause damage. Some of the classrooms are really damp and wet. This issue needs to be fixed.
The equipments and machineries installed in our laboratories are a bit old and that's why they don't operate properly. So I think that some of the machineries and equipments need to be replaced for betterment in learning of the students

Placement Experience:

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

I have applied to four colleges but chooses NHIT, Durgapur because it has the comfortable fees that any student can afford. The minimum marks need for admission to this college are 90% on the 10th and 90% on the 12th also. The admission process is nice and easy. Firstly you have filled up the application form of the college and submit it on the college website and wait for the merit list. After the merit list came out you have to pay the admission fees on the college website and submit the printout of the admission fees....Read More
