Course Curriculum Overview
I preferred Mechanical Engineering at this college because the previous year's placements records were pretty good and of my personal interests also. All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced and every faculty member has a Ph.D. in their subjects. The exam level is moderate and this college is affiliated with AICTE and exams are conducted by JUT(JHARKHAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY).
Internships Opportunities
Our college itself initiate internship programs several times for students in social media platforms, digital marketing, etc. Stipend is given up to 15k. Some of the students have got internships for the same. One main point which should be mentioned is that students in 1st year also can be interns if he/she has good knowledge about the roles offered by the college.
Placement Experience
Placement is good for every branch. ME, CSE, ECE, EE, and CE are offered by this college. VIPRO, TATA STEEL, HCL, TATA MOTORS, and MICROSOFT companies have visited our college for the placements and these companies visit every year. Most of the students are placed well in companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year fee for the course is around 24000(more or less) for free seat students. Paid seat course fee is around 69000/- per annum. TFW students have a very less course fee and which is around 9000/- per annum. E-Kalyan is given to the students who reside in Jharkhand.
Campus Life
Every alternate year cultural fest and the annual fest are organized in this college. The library is well-maintained and has several books to go through with. Sports equipment is provided to the students who have the urge to play. Unfortunately, there is no big playground on campus but games like volleyball and badminton can be well played on campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are well maintained. There is a variety in the food menu. Three times a day, food is given to the hostellers. Food quality is good but does not expect it like home foods. Registration to the hostel is very simple. You just have to fill out an application form for the hostel which will be provided on the college campus.
Admission
There is a basic criterion for admission to this college and that is JEE Mains. Another criterion is that you can take admission through the paid seat. The application form is available on the official website of chaibasa engineering college.
