Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum of dtu is on the easier side. But assignments, projects, and lab works have to submit by all students it's compulsory in all colleges. All Faculty members are from iits nits and other top universities. Some of them are very supportive and chill while some of are strict. Exams are taken in every 2 months mid term and end term exams in every semester.
Placement Experience
DTU'S brand value is great. Its placement is very good avg package in software-related branches is around 20 lacs per annum, while overall 11 to 13 lacs is its avg package. Placement season starts at the end of 3 Rd year and continues till the 4th year. A lot of companies visit dtu's campus Opportunities are great for placement but by any chance one who doesn't get placed, no worry dtu's brand value is great to apply off-campus in your dream company, and u will definitely get a job. Every year highest package crosses 1 cr.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is quite high of this college as compared to nits. In past few years fees increased rapidly.now the fees is 2.2lacs in first year and 2.3,2.4,2.5 in the respective years. There are many scholarships like for economical weaker students and all scholarships details easily get to know through website.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. For hostelers campus life is excellent. After IIT Delhi dtu's fest are best in Delhi. One of them is engifest . Library is one of the best library.There are many books for individual course /departments like civil , mechanical, electrical.... In dtu's Sports complex there is 1 cricket ground 5 nets for cricket practice,1 football ground,3 badminton courts outside and 4 badminton courts indoor halls, lawn tennis, 2volleyball,2basketball with a large area .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is OkOk ,not so good not so bad. students were facing some problem in meal but now all is okay Hostel fee for non AC is around 40k for 2semesters.and mess fee for each months are 2700rs.affordable but quality is ok ok .not in this college in every college hostel facilities are not so good and not so bad .
Admission
for admission to dtu students should score at least 60 percent in PCM in other colleges this requires 70 percent for admission to dtu all students have to take counseling through JAC Delhi counseling, not through jossa counseling. fee for application to jac Delhi is around 1500rs. in dtu there is 85 percent of the home state quota and 15 for the outside quota. very good opportunity for Delhi students.
