Course Curriculum Overview
The batch size is around 600 people. The course curriculum offers a good mix of theoretical and practical learning since you study a lot of concepts through real-life case scenarios. The year is divided into three terms for both years. The faculty is good.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in all fields based on your interest by some of the most prominent brands. College committees prepare you too for the interview process. There is no bar on the number of companies you can apply to unless you get selected.
Placement Experience
Summer internships take place in the month of September of your first year. Final placements are done in the duration of the 5th term of your course. The average package for the 2021-23 batch was 30l.p.a with some of the dream companies coming to recruit for good roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure includes your academic fees, hostel fees, and medical insurance. For the first year, mess charges are also included in the fees. The allocated amount needs to be paid at the start of each term. IIMI offers great packages during internships and for final placements too with an average of 30 LPA.
Campus Life
IIMI has one of the most beautiful campuses. It is spread over 193 acres with greenery and all the facilities required. The hostels are in good condition and you live in a single occupancy room. The whole campus is accessible to students with a badminton court, swimming pool, library, grocery shop, gardens, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are in good condition. Even the washrooms are well maintained and housekeeping comes every day to clean your rooms. the mess food is good and you also have other eating joints. Girls' and boy's hostels are separate.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for IIMs is the CAT exam. Your CAT score along with your 10th/12th/Grad marks and your work experience is taken into account and a specific weightage is given to each. IIM Indore gives a lot of weightage to your previous scores. You go through an interview round to get selected for the course.
Interview Experience
I went through an interview that was based on my city and my knowledge about my academics. I even had to give an extempore. But this experience is different for different people. Therefore, you need to be thorough with what is going on in the country, in your state, and the history of your state/city read about the college well enough, and know your UG academic well.
