The college is really good everyone should study in a college like this college management is really good they always make sure that the students have a comfortable and friendly environment to study

Entrance Preview

I took the jee entrance test and I score marks of 35 so then I was forwarded to the counseling and in the counseling I got 3 options 3 options where CET silicon and tridebt Academy of Technology were givenand as far as I knew Trident was a very good college so i chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is really good they totally emphasize on the core subjects and we are continuously given different projects in which we get to research in various topics so it's a really nice experience studying in this college has get a lot of opportunities to develop our knowledge in the branch the Desire

Internships Opportunities

Guess ur college to provide internship with stipend is basically 6 to 10000 and the experience is really really good we get to learn a lot of things and professional skills are also developed so overall it's a very nice experience

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are I wouldn't say very good but it is ok the companies that came to our college are just dial.com TCS uniparts Shri Ram panels Cummins India net tantra Tech Mahindra Infosys Mitsubishi Mind Tree and more The packages were almost in between 2 to 3.5 lacs

Our College conducts two kind of festivals one Technology festival and the second one is the college festival both of the festivals have a lot of events in them in which one can participate and win lot of prizes we really enjoy in the time of festivals it is basically conducted in the month of February every year where both of the festivals get 3 days each

the fee structure is really suitable for everyone it can be afforded by each and everyone and the college also provides installment options so if one can not afford the whole fees at a time he can give it in installments Per year - 84000 including everything

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provides loan facility that is scholarship facility to the people who cannot afford studying in the college with the whole course fees it is basically available for the people of backward classes and the college also provide scholarship programs every year for students who performed excellent in the studies

The college organises sports day every year for us there we get a chance to perform on athletic skills the college also keeps on organising competitions like painting debate Dance music singing frequently so we always have a scope to develop extra co curricular activities

Hostel Facilities

The hostel of the college is really very well furnished and it has all the facilities the food is very good and healthy and is prepared in a very healthy environment the rooms are pretty large and have all the equipments in them and the washroom is very neat and clean they also provide us with wi-fi service so basically there is no complain about the hostel from my side

seniors are really very helpful whenever we face a problem they are present for us they are always there for us whenever we are in a problem they just come to help us out and I also help us in the time of different competitions

Exam Structure

The Laboratories were difficult but it wasn't very hectic as they were well equipped it with all the machineries and was really well maintained and the exams it was a little bit hectic but not very the library is really big and the seating was really comfortable so the students didn't face many problems

Admission

Actually a senior of mine told me about Trident so I basically I went to the college and I was given a form to fill up and submitted a demand draught of rupees 5000 and then I was taken to a personal interview section where I got qualified and opted for the mechanical engineering branch the admission process was really hassle-free they helpedus out in each and every step so it was really a very nice experience getting admitted in such a nice college.

Faculty

The faculties are really and cooperating they are always present for us most of them are phds basically they are very very talented and their teaching is even very nice they totally emphasize on the subjects they are teaching and they make sure that the student doesn't have any problem studying it

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Inside Trident Academy of Technology: A Student's Perspective

The admission process was a little bit easy. All we have to do is book a seat their in advance by giving 20k (refundable) or just by applying the counseling. Yes it has reservation benefits. Sc/St can get the seat even if they secured low marks than general. The time gap between one to another semester exam is approximately 4 months. And yes the exams are a little bit difficult as it is being held by BPUT not by our own college. The admission process is already great but one thing is the administrative officers are big manipulators.
