Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the CSE course as this is top tier in this college and it's the best u can get here. The course curriculum is according to aktu University. It includes five main subjects and additional skills subject during the first two semesters. The faculty members are a bit strict considering the attendance policy of the college but teaching well to get a good cgpa further is dependent on the student's efforts.
Internships Opportunities
Multiple domestic as well as international internship opportunities are made available by the college for the students, and most of them are provided with stipends. The projects are given on the speciality of the type of company providing the internship.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement by the third year. Many companies visit the college the data is available on the college's official website. The highest package this year is 48 LPA and the average package is 7.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the college is 1.38 lakh approx and the hostel fees are 96000 in the first year and in my opinion, fees were a little bit high. By the second year fees will be reduced to 1.2 lahks approx. The scholarship opportunity will be given to students on the basis of their academic performance. Fee waiver seats are also available as a need-based financial option as well as jee rank basis. Less job/internship opportunities in the first year.
Campus Life
Annual fest - Prastuti( in March) Tech fest - INNOTECH (in November) / college is planning more tech fest. There is a large variety of books and journals available in the KIET central library. ACs are available for two to tackle NCR heat waves in the classroom. Multiple sports facilities are available. Some of the largest student-run communities here are Innogeeks, DSC, TEDxKIET, kavyanjali, Mycin, Devup, and FOSSCU-K.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in hostels are equipped with ACs but an extra 25000 rupees fee is required to avail of AC facilities. The rooms of one first-year hostel (CV RAMAN) are equivalent to high-paid flats but other hostels have typical hostel room vibes. The meal is offered in the hostel mess. The menu is fine, but the meal quality is okay. Hostels are available on a first come first grab basis and a registration option is available at the time of admission. Many PG options are available in the locality.
Admission
Admission to the KIET GROUP OF Institutions is done through two processes. Which are the direct method and the counselling method. I joined the college through counselling done by aktu University on the basis of Jee mains rank cut-off release.
