Remarks

Good remarks would be that the college has certain good staffs and infrastructure to produce great engineers and provide quality education however the strict rules and management pressures would make even a good academic student to run out of the college at any time possible

Entrance Preview

We need not write any entrance examinations for getting admission in this college.if you have a cut off of 160 and above in HSC you could get in here.I opted this one only for the reason it's one of the SRM group institution

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is pretty good with certain well trained and learned staffs consistently wanting you to perform new projects while some staffs are not even qualified to work as lab in charge. They give you value added programs and online certifications in order to add up to your CV during placements

Internships Opportunities

There used to internships once in our college but nowadays there is not much internship opportunities provided through college...if one is interested he could take up an internship by applying through the means he knows and college does support that as it'd be useful when we attend placements

Placement Experience

4

Placements in my college is quite better when compared to certain other colleges. Last year Accenture was the one that recruited many students with average package of 3-3.5 lakhs pa. In order to attend placements there is a set of rules which must be followed by the student. Some other companies that do recruit from our college are TCS,CTS,IBM

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible and not that expensive. I got admitted via TNEA counselling which is government quota. My tuition fees is 40k pa and other fees would sum upto a total of 20k pa which on total would be 60k pa(this is for government quota only). During first year fees payment you mighty have to pay extra 12k in which they give us the necessary accessories and books for first year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college on it's own doesn't give any scholarships whereas it helps the students to apply for government scholarships . This year students of bc/mbc/sc/st caste having scored more than 1000 in HSC received a 10k scholarship from government which would be credited into their accounts opened by college however they received only 4500

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio of boys to girls is almost the same with 50:50 . The college diversity is not that good. Certain labs are really amazing and some are totally not well equipped or designed. Sports is not given much preference as it happens only on sports days. Essay , burk club activities do take place often .

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is quite ok and not that worth for the money we pay. The hostel fees along with mess fee is 1 lakh pa which is quite expensive and not worth it. Mess food would be consumable at times with certain good dishes and mostly not worth having

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors ate quite helpful as they do have the same grudge towards the college management and rules however a good bond is present between the seniors and juniors. There's no alumni network for the students to reach out and is a big drawback

Exam Structure

During short semesters we'd be having a hectic timetable with the internal assessments and record submissions. The assessments conducted for our internal marks is a big gamble what we score is what we get as internals and in case if we are absent during the assessment they would just enter it as 0

Admission

If you are gonna apply via TNEA counselling it's very easy ... you can select this college and course during your counseling session. If you would wanna management quota you have contact the college admissions in advance and pay a sum a greater fees than the government quota

Faculty

4

The qualifications of the professors would be ME as most of them would have joined teaching as a result of getting proper jobs in their own fields . Certain staffs and faculty are so well qualified and their teaching would just increase your interests into the subject . Some of the faculty are student friendly and help us both academically and personally

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
