Likes

Sports infrastructure is very good. It is well maintained
Faculties are well educated and college mainly focuses on academics
Library has abundant books and a good space to study

Dislikes

The no of holidays are very less is silicon

Course Curriculum Overview

A single faculty can handle approximately 25 students. There are no constant qualifications, faculties are hired according to the college requirements. The end-term exam was pretty hard for students need to study well.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are hired a maximum no. of students. There are many projects made by students every year if your project is good the college gives you some reward and tries to make you happy.

Placement Experience

More than 60+ companies visited last year for placement opportunities. And 90 percentage students get placed. The highest package is 30 LPA and the average is 4.5 LPA. 85-90 percent this year. Get placed in a company and start my corporate life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Silicon takes 1.5 lacs for the course fee. There are many scholarships students need to see on the college website and I have applied for a scholarship and have received benefits for 1 lakh each year.

Campus Life

The annual fest is celebrated each year in April. Many small fests are also celebrated. The library has abundant resources of books. The classroom has digital boards and cleanliness is good. Sports fest is celebrated and inter-branch tournaments are held each year. Many clubs are there like sports services, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The room is well-ventilated, lights and fans are good. The service of electrical equipment is good washrooms are cleaned regularly. The meal is a bit costly that is 4000 per month but the quality is good. The registration is hassle-free. No, I have opted for a campus hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Admission

You just need to qualify jeemain exam. I found the application from college website. There are reservation but i have no idea about this student need to go through the college website and see there.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Likes

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Dislikes

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including
Must of faculty members are belongs to home state

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
