- Then we very good sports facility and other co curricular activities
- There are lot of fests and there is not much pressure on the students by the faculties
Dislikes
- All the students are not provided with hostel
- We do not have a 24 7 canteen that is why it becomes difficult to arrange food during late night
- The library is not open all night so it becomes difficult during exams
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this degree because it was the best branch that I was getting through my jee mains rank. The batch size is approximately 200 students. all the professors have done their Ph.D. from reputed colleges. In a semester there are two exams mid sems and end sems and other practicals and vivas of the subject apart from assignments etc.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies that offer internships and they start hiring for them at the end of the summer vacation of the second year. the stipend varies from 50000 to 2 lakhs. the highest stipend was offered by sprinkler.
Placement Experience
Almost all the tech giants visit our college for placements. And for my department, the average package was 23-24 lakhs ctc the highest package offered was 1.05 crore by amazon Ireland. From our department, 98 percent of students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 2,25,000 per year. Yes, there is a scholarship facility available but I don't have any idea about it. The scholarship in my opinion is provided by the government of delhi In the name of e -district.
Campus Life
We have Engifest celebrated as the annual fest which is Asia's third-largest fest. There are many other fests that happen in addition to this feat organized by different societies of the college. There is a huge library with 3 floors having many books segregated department wise..we too have great sports facilities inside the campus.
Admission
The admission to my college is through jee mains. Around 10 lakh students give this exam every year and around 1500 students are selected in dtu. The eligibility Criteria are a minimum of 75 percent in boards and percentile as decided by the counseling team of JAC Delhi. The application form can be found on Jee mains website and after the result is declared there is a portal of jac Delhi where the student has to register. Yes, there is a reservation present in the college since it's a government college. The reservation facility is for SC ST OBC non-creamy layer EWS PWD and defense quota students. There is another reservation for Kashmiri migrant students. Also, 85 percent of seats are reserved for Delhi students and the rest are for outside Delhi students. I don't think there needs to be any improvement in the admission process.
