- hostel meal is good and the quality of food is nice not matching our home made but trust me its very nice at least eatable .college canteen is huge which provide space for student gossips
- dtu organnises a fest called engifest which is indias one of the best fest
- placement and job opportunity are best in delhi technological university as it is high ranked college in india after some iits its nirf ranking is also very nice
Dislikes
- the student intake is very high which i didnt like
- the delhi quota scheme is not favouring the quality of student intake
- the campus is very huge so it takes very more time to go from hostel to class
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a very keen interest in microprocessors and semiconductors their working and advantages and how they are making our life easy so I choose ece branch. the faculty to student ratio is not good as the students are very high in number in this college around 2.5k every year. the qualification and teaching skills of our teachers are very good and they are very humble to students and help students at every stage which I like the most in this college. Here in every semester, we have 2 exams mid-term and end terms. and they have a gap of around 2 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees per year are around 2.5 lac for b tech students which is high I guess but there are various scholarships for students on the basis of merit, and financial assistance the scholarship varies from 20-80%, and in some cases it is 100%. the placement of the college is very good average package is 12 lac.
Campus Life
campus life is best at dtu because there are many ongoing fests in our college. and North indias largest fest engifest is of dtu. the library is very big and books are available easily. Sports and extracurricular activities are too much there are many sports in the college and for this, there is a big sports complex. there are various societies in our college that provide various opportunities to students.
Admission
Admissions to this colleg is based on the jee score i.e percentile based and the cut-off is really high for higher branches but for core branches the cut-off decreases. there is also a reservation policy. Delhi quota is also given to the student which are resident of delhi and which is around 85% or who have qualified their 12th examinations from Delhi school. means the students who cleared thei 12th from delhi schools have clear advantage. after the jee examination JAC DELHI starts the counseling for admissions to this college, which is of 8 stages.
